You know it's crazy that Roy has always been mention in the top 3 P4P list ever, then he losses and completly drops out. Granted he had alot more fights but even Ray would lose, he dropped 19 fights and 6 draws.

How can you hit what you can't see. before Tarver RJJ had only lost about 10 rounds in his career. thats crazy. I hope people don't try to call me a nuthugger because Roy isn't or has never been my favorite fighter, but you have to respect his skills. He beat B-Hop, in B-Hop's prime. easy.
Hey man I agree RJJ was unbeatable in his prime at any weight.
I personally never liked him either but gama recognize game.

Also i beleive that P4P means if you can make a weight you should be able to win at that class, Roy has proven that he can win at any weight even HW.

Roy Jones is far from being the greatest fighter of all-time. His opposition is simply not up to par with the other greats. As for Jones vs. Robinson, maybe Jones would've won, but only because Ray was a natural welterweight while Jones was a natural super middleweight. In a p4p bout, Ray wins.

            My top 10:

            1. Ray Robinson
            2. Harry Greb
            3. Henry Armstrong
            4. Roberto Duran
            5. Sam Langford
            6. Muhammad Ali
            7. Willie Pep
            8. Ray Leonard
            9. Benny Leonard
            10. Ezzard Charles

Harry Greb probably has the sickest record of all-time. The list of names on his record are mind-blowing.

The thing with Roy is that he fought good fighters, but he was just so much better instead of giving him props, people would rather just say it was his level of comp. I beleive Floyd will have the same problem. Because he makes it look so easy in there. Roy beat B-hop and Toney, both Hall of fame fighters. And many more.

I agree that Roy was so good that he made his opposition look worse than they really were. But his opposition was still fairly weak. If you compare Roy's opposition to Robinson's, Greb's, Ali's, Armstrong's, or Charles', Roy's doesn't hold up. Those guys consistently fought some of the greatest fighters to ever live. Roy's claim to fame is a green Hopkins, a fat Toney, and John Ruiz. Don't get me wrong, Roy is a great fighter, one of the best of all-time. But he's not in the top 10.

i dont like p4p best in division better
HW ali needs no explanation alternate: tyson, he aint last long but i cant deny what i saw till 1990

LH archie moore should be on every p4p list alternate: spinks even tho holmes really beat him both times only light heavy to put up a pretty good fight gainst a heavy for main belt

M hagler born at 160 if he didnt **** around in the begining would of beat sugar ray easy alternate: sugar ray leanord could transform like octumus prime

W sugar ray robinson best all round fighter by many alternate: henry armstrong had a heart that was twice the size it should have been allowed him to go non stop perpetual motion in his prime dont know if ray robinson could beat him

lW tie gans duran p4p most historians pick both theese dudes in the top 3 anyplace from 1 to 3
                  jones shoulda stay at middle

I dont know about listing 10 guys. But I know my top 10 all time P4P list would begin with Marvin Hagler. The guy was a perfect A + fighter in every single category.
