Floyd Sr: "****m is a JOKE, he don't know nothing about training"

I am not denying Floyd Sr. abilities as a trainer, but it's easy to judge his conduct as a trainer.

When Hatton was knocked out by Pac, Floyd Sr. pretty much threw Hatton under the bus. It wasn't Floyd's fault Hatton got knocked out, but I hated the way Floyd distanced himself from Hatton. He showed no support for the fighter that hired him and didn't talk to Hatton for weeks. On top of that, reports indicated that Floyd was frequently late for training sessions.

It's also the trainer's job to look out and show concern for your fighter. Hatton was to blame for fighting like an idiot and I am sure Floyd Sr. was ashamed, but you still have to be there for your fighter win or lose. Floyd maybe a great trainer, but he lacks character and professionalism.

Maybe Richardson should start showing up late and going to taco bell instead of training Mosley.

LMAO @ this poll. Just because ****m is a good guy, it doesn't automatically means he's a great trainer. The Mayweathers are not the brightest people in the world, but i doubt that ****m boxing IQ is better than theirs.

i don't doubt floyd's boxing knowledge, but he skipped training and went to taco bell. then when hatton lost, he ****ted on hatton as you say.

I dont thin ****m is overrated as a trainer, he seems to know alot about the fight game, and has retrained Mosley to be a combo puncher again from what we've been shown against Margarito. Now im just waiting for the Floyd fans to jump all over me saying that "Margarito aint ****" or something along those lines.

P.S. That Floyd Sr sig is the ****!!! I love Floyd Sr, Jr....... not soo much.
