lol no he didnt.. Mosley won with aggression if anything. Cotto was clearly landing the cleaner shots making Mosleys ugly face snap back. Difference with Floyd is, he's gonna land cleaner shots and rarely get hit cleanly with Shanes wide ass punches

I agree that you cannot use Winky and Forrest as examples why Floyd beats Mosley. They are too different physically and have completely different styles. There isn't a precedent for Mosley as far as a fighter like Mayweather he has fought.

it's an informed initial post from the TS, doug write that as a response to a mailbag guest who wrote this:

There is a blue print for beating Mosley. There isn’t one for beating Money. I am surprised that someone with your boxing acumen doesn’t see that.

You remember what Vernon Forest did to Mosley? You will see a repeat of this, probably sans knockdowns. Mosley dominates fighters that stand in front of him, which is something Floyd won’t do for any extended period of time. The one rangy, disciplined fighter he did fight (Forest) he got dominated, twice. Winky was more defensive than rangy, but just as disciplined and he dominated Mosley, twice. Mosley never made adjustments in either fight and was dominated in the same fashion.

Nazzim Richardson is the wild card, but I don’t think that you can teach an old dog new tricks. Mosley is what he is, a very good fighter who isn’t quite elite against a certain disciplined style that his conquerors possessed, as does Floyd. The fight will be interest ing, but too much MONEY is always a good thing. -- Wiley
aahhh i see, TS should have included this at the top, it might have changed peoples mind on the vote.

I also dont believe Shane is the same fighter he was when he faced Vernon or Winky. To act like him being inactive for a year and a half and being 38yrs old isnt going to affect his performance is ignorant. He cant hurt Floyd because he wont be able to find him.

Thank you Dominicano!!!!! Floyd is not as small as most would like to believe.

This. And Floyd's 26" arm length is certainly comparable with those guys.

Watching Shane's slow, loaded up punches against Margarito and thinking any of that mess is going to catch Floyd, is absurd. Hell the younger, more active version of Shane couldn't catch Cotto, who doesn't have the height, reach, chin or anywhere near the defense, of Floyd.

shane wont be able to connect as much as he wants dued to mayweather's tap/tag and run. mayweather will be a tad quicker and pull off a split decision.
