I'm not attacking Jack. Jack and I have an understanding. He knows that I say that about pretty much any thread he makes. I don't care for the argument. I think alot of times Jack says things to get a rise out of people, IMO.

        2 Oscar
        3 Holyfield
Again, you have to consider the era and the amount of time each did it. The only reason I would put Oscar ahead of Tyson is because Oscar did it for much longer.

The time spent in jail hurt Tyson and he was never the same after that. While Oscar was making huge amounts of money for over 10 years.

Holyfield is right up there but the money that Leonard was making in the early to mid 80's was amazing considering the time. I remember he made like 15 million in one fight in the mid 80's, that was considered insane back then.

Mayweather was not selling jack **** before HBO put all their money behind him.

See the Judah fight for evidence.

            Or the Baldomir fight.

Those are true Mayweather numbers. On his own, without the help of HBO.

Without HBO plastering his **** all over the place, he's a 400k to 500k seller.

            And thats being generous.

Quit the bull**** *****'s. And think critically before you say ****** **** like that.

Mayweather needed a 24/7 to be "interesting" to the public. His fighting style never delivered and they needed something to gin up interest to compensate for his lack of excitement in the ring.

"Gee, I can't figure out how Mayweather does it"....

I gotta clue for you. It starts with H and ends in O.

            Figure it out.
Yeah but Oscar was a whole different beast
you cant compare the PPV king to anyone out there now

Oscar sold almost milions in PPV fighting nobodies
that wont be done again for a long time
sorry manny and floyd you two are no where near the level of Oscar
you can call him over rated or whatever but he was the biggest draw ever in boxing and those two dont come close

As time goes on, PPV get bigger and bigger because there are more viewers. To say that Floyd is a bigger earner than DLH is dumb.
Mmmm, so you've basically just gave the reason for Floyd possibly becoming a bigger earned than DLH then said to say he is a bigger earner is dumb? I bet you all my points Mayweather v Mosley beats DLH v Mosley PPV and Mayweather v Pac beats DLH v Pac PPV

You Floyd fans are as smart as the fighters *** you are on...

You cannot look at it from that point of view. As time goes on, PPV reach more homes and cost more. I remember buying fights when they were 19.99 and that was a lot.

Nowadays they cost $50 a pop so of course the final numbers will be greater. The way you have to look at it is by ERA. Consider the money Oscar was making in the 90's as opposed to the money Floyd is making today or in the last 5-7years as him as the headliner.

He's no where close to DLH or Leonard, Tyson or Holyfield....not when you compare era's.

Floyd vs Pac will be huge, Floyd vs Mosley will do well also but that's because Floyd is also fighting household names in boxing.

Oscar was selling 1 million PPV's fighting guys that weren't big names and he did that for over 10 years man, give me a break.
