I always thought not so good things of sad intentions.

But against Martinez he would definitely be favored by the style matchup, so it is a tough one to call.

Yeah I also think the style match up plays in Jermain's favor.

My fault, I didn't see "prime" in the title......as if that makes a difference

Both seem to have the same problem of maintaining for 12 full rounds, I think Taylor would win enough of the early rounds to hold a lead for the win after a late Sergio charge.

And I think Taylor puts some hurt on Paul and stops him late.

Martinez by decision...close fight...but I could see Jermain winning as well if he wins enuff rounds early on...

Prime Taylor, that is the Taylor leading up to and thru the Bhop fights, was a beast and a destroyer. He put unrelenting pressure on his opponents and overwhelmed them with power punching. He would KO Martinez in that form. I dont know what happened to him after the Bhop fights, he had three title defences, but they were all against fighters who were just or had recently moved up from 154, and all three went the distance. The version of Taylor leading up to his middleweight title fight would have crushed Oama and Spinks, and maybe even Winky. That prime Taylor would smash Martinez as well.
