    froch and his underated defence

People have always kncoekd frochs defence, but i it really that bad. His face is never really cut(worse damage probably the kesseler fight even though froch ****ed up kesseler face more). Hes only been down once as a amateur/professional. He faced top class opposition and never once has he really looked like hes been on the road to getting knocked out.

Take the kessler fight, froch had hsi bidy worked more than his face, which was barely touched until the 8th. Kess ws eating froches jab, and straight rights.

I think froch has a underated defence and evidence suggests this...

Probably is underrated but still not great. His left hand is low but he protects his chin with his right and catches some shots there. His defence definitely looked better against Kessler

kessler was literally getting outboxed, the more i atch the fight the more you see kessler getting outjabbed.

FROCH hardly ate any shots, the shot on the bridge of his nose was more frochs poor ducking rather than kessler landing a shot.

Froch has no defense. He is slow and very easy to hit, with his hands always down like he thinks his reflexes will take care of it. Some people just don't show damage, Froch seems to be one of those.

I was actually thinking his defense was a little underrated while watching the Kessler fight. Even Dirrell had a hard time finding him at times. However, that's when he's at a distance. When he comes it recklessly he get's tagged all day.

Why is his face busted up then and why was Froch crying in his corner about Kessler hurting him to the body?

Froch invented the shoulder roll defense, the Ali shuffle, the check hook and of course the jab.

i agree that froch once every blue moon throws a lunging shot which can make him vulnerable. but i think he just gets frustrated in there and wants a tear up. But other than that i think froch showed a more vitali/wlad esque style in the kessler fight, popping him with the jab and occasionslly follwing up with a fight hand. i liked it.
