From one perspective, it kinda exposes how well and protected European fighters are. Don't get me wrong...Froch came to CT and KO'd Taylor in front of a hostile crowd and AA went to FL and beat Miranda, but neither one wants to fight outside their country because 'they wont 100%' for the fight. Well 95% of boxers who have a lot to lose than gain would rather fight at home, Kessler went to Wales and lost his belts, He also went to US and lost his belt..Both AA and frochy have fought once at home and away so i think whoever fights away now need to be fully compensated for it because unless that person scores a KO i dont see whoever fights away from home getting a decision either in Germany or over here in the U.K..

AA is a huge deal in germany. they should be able to make that w/ the gate at germany no?

The O2 World arena in Berlin can accomodate upwards to 17,000 if need be.
If they charge even as little as $100 a ticket that's $ 1.7 million right there. Add to that the much more expensive floor seats, VIP, etc and you got roughly $2 million just at the gate. Not counting the advertisement revenue, the TV licensing deal to air the fight (easily another million euro given that half of Germany will watch it) and you got yourself a handome amount.

As you can see, Germany makes the most sense money wise. It really is the biggest venue you could ask for.

Froch is being modest with that amount. I'd fork it over in a blink if I was Sauerland.
