The dispute continues between promotional company Sauerland Event and former champion Carl Froch over the venue for his appearance in the Super Six Boxing Classic, which takes place in August against Arthur Abraham. Wilfried Sauerland said there was no pre-existing agreement with Froch's promoter Mick Hennessy to stage the event in Nottingham, Froch's hometown. [Click Here To Read More]

Wow i thought all these guys would be already making more than a million a fight. Hard to think Froch faced Kessler in Denmark for less than a million.

1 million £??? That sounds cheap. I'm certain Sauerland will cough up that kind of dough.

Froch fans better prepare to book the ticket for Berlin.

I wonder how much money the Super Six fighters are getting paid per fight in the quarter finals.

I take it you mean the semis?

I read about Kessler's numbers. He gets 2M $ pr. group stage fight. The semis havent been negotiated yet, but I'd say they'd be worth double.

Keep in mind, one million British pounds is a guarantee of $1.54 million U.S. dollars

Wherever it takes place, this one will be very exciting with both having something to prove and facing an early exit from the tournament with a loss. I think Abraham takes it on KO, but as usual, his slow start could cost him.

£1 million is fair, seeing as there's a high probablity of a KO in this fight either way.
