With a great referee like Bailess and international judges, I don't see how they could rob Froch. If the fight has to be in Germany, the least they can do to make it fair would be to get American judges in for the fight because even if Froch did win the fight in Germany, he'd never get that decision with German judges.
American judges is the perfect answer, nobody can complain then!
Most of the time, in a fight where a fighter gets robbed, the ref has obvious bias towards the home fighter, and his job is just as deciding - if not more -as the judges job.Comment

From one perspective, it kinda exposes how well and protected European fighters are. Don't get me wrong...Froch came to CT and KO'd Taylor in front of a hostile crowd and AA went to FL and beat Miranda, but neither one wants to fight outside their country because 'they wont 100%' for the fight. Fck that. Kessler went to fckn Wales to face slappy joe and then went to oakland of all freakin places in america to lose his belt. Froch: not many ppl like you, much think that you didnt win that fight against dirrell, how bout goin to germany and beating AA in front of everybody and shutting up loud mouths like myself included instead of threatning to pull out of this amazing tourney because not everyones giving you a bottle. karma served froch well in herning, he's paid his due, may the best man win in germany - actually with that being said, the ref should be from the states to be fair or from mexico or someone not from EuroComment

actually in the post fight interview in the ring Froch was specifically asked if he felt the decision was a robbery and he never said it was. obviously he felt the decision could have gone either way but he was gracious, respectable and a true professional when voicing his opinion of the fight. once again, SHI*TY writing on the part of whoever the hell wrote this article form boxingscene, yet again. stop putting words in fighters' mouths. (i know it's not THAT big a deal, but any true boxing fans out there can understand where i'm coming from. right?)Comment

Froch needs to quit whining. He is lucky to be 1-1 and could very well be 0-2 and on his way out anyway. Froch needs to man up and take the fight. You don't hear any other fighter complaining on where their fights have taken place. The best fighters fight and don't whine like bitches (see Arreola's post fight interview to see how a true fighter should behave)....Comment

All these European fighters are overrated and that's why none of them want to fight outside their home country. Because they get exposed when they do. AA beating Miranda doesn't say much and Froch beating Taylor doesn't say much either. When they face true talent outside of their home countries they don't have the home cooking and they get exposed.Comment

I also felt that Froch was suprisingly humble during his post fight interview. However, you can't overlook statements made by Froch himself like "I think if that [fight] was back at home in my town, that the descision would have gone the other way." In what ever way you slice it up, that statement implies that he felt he had clearly won and that the judging was unfair and impartial for the home town fighter, even though none of the officials were from the area. Yes, one judge had a seemingly ridiculous score - but it was a unanimous decision, unlike the split decision outcome of the Dirrell fight that went his way.actually in the post fight interview in the ring Froch was specifically asked if he felt the decision was a robbery and he never said it was. obviously he felt the decision could have gone either way but he was gracious, respectable and a true professional when voicing his opinion of the fight. once again, SHI*TY writing on the part of whoever the hell wrote this article form boxingscene, yet again. stop putting words in fighters' mouths. I think the writer was simply stating what Froch himself was implying, that he was robbed.Comment

So Europain fighters are overrated and protect because they don't like to fight on the road? What sort of double standard is that? How many fights have Hopkins, Mayweather, Bute, Mosley, Pavlik etc had outside of America?
And all these wannabe Keyboard Warriors calling fighter are like Froch and Abraham bitches you're a disgrace, really nobody who gets into a boxing ring to fight for a world title, or any fight for that matter can be called a *****. Froch went to America to fight Taylor, he went to Denmark to fight Kessler. Kessler went to fight Ward in Ward's hometown even though he was the champion and Ward was only a prospect at the time.Comment
