I could not understand why so many picked Arreola, when that fight was made my initial reaction was that Adamek would win, however when i came on here i was shocked at how many people were picking Arreola, so much so that i started to question myself and think maybe im way off base here, here is was what i posted about the fight anyway.

I like Adamek because i think he will use his legs & speed to win a decision. Adamek has shown good speed and in and out Boxing lately, most notably against Golota,Estrada.

Im gonna say Adamek by decision, Arreola is not a huge puncher so i dont see him changing the fight with one punch it will be accumulation of punches that does it for him, however i think he will need Adamek to be a more stationary target to get off consistently, and the only way that is going to happen is if Adamek gets dragged into a war.

Dont get me wrong i dont blame anyone for picking Arreola but i was a bit shocked how lopsided opinion was for him to win

well, it's not like he was completely dominated.

He lost the fight clearly, Lederman gave him some rounds based on that he upset Adamek's rhythm, when he might not of won some of those rounds.

      Adamek won that fight clearly.

I scored it 116-112 Adamek. I picked Arreola because I didn't think Adamek's chin could withstand his power, and he would have been caught sooner or later, but it didn't happen, Adamek has a great chin!

I picked Arreola because Adamek wasn't entirely convincing against Estrada, he didn't look like he dealt with the size and power of Estrada too well, he also got winded towards the end of the fight, Arreola is like a bigger, stronger, more powerful version of Estrada so I went with Arreola but Adamek obviously learned from the Estrada fight and fought a smarter fight against Arreola.

I do wonder what would have happened had Arreola not hurt his hands though, according to Arreola he was basically a one handed fighter from the 5th round on and basically a handless fighter in the last round so it would be interesting if they have a rematch.

I was also one of the people underestimating Adamek's chin. Good win for the Polish fighter though. It didn't help Arreola coming in like a fat lard though. He's never going to be any better if he doesn't fix his conditioning.

Well when i read how people were picking Arreola and someone brought up how Estrada was able to get to him in the last couple of rounds, i thought yeah maybe there is something in that, there is no question if Adamek had been a stationary target in the fight that Arreola would of over powered him and possibly taken him out, that said what made me stay with my pick is that, that was late in the fight with Estrada where by Adamek would! of started to slow down having used his legs most of the fight.

I dont blame anyone for picking Arreola but i was a bit shocked how lopsided opinion was for him to win, i thought he also had a good chance to win but that he comes in straight to much and needs to get set to get off, now being that Adamek in his most recent fights has adopted more in and out Boxing, plus he does have underrated hand speed and good body attack to set up his combo upstairs i thought he would offset him, move, flurry and win.

I thought Arreola was going to ship Adamek a couple of times, but he's tougher and smarter than I thought. I doubt Haye will want any piece of him.

I thought Adamek would be able to offset Arreola too, just not for the whole fight. I expected Arreola to impose himself on Adamek as the fight went on, which seemed to be happening until the combination of Arreola hurting his hand and Adamek switching gears happened.
