Froch really didn't go to the body as much as Kessler, and by Froch's own admission the Body shots were the ones that were slowing him down and really hurting him. The body work IMO was the most effective work done by Kessler early. Froch was throwing single shots to the body and he was focusing on making sure Kesslers right hand was falling short which Kessler adjusted to and started looping his punches more.

In those early rounds, there were very few head shots thrown by Kessler in comparison to the combinations to the body which didn't land as flush as say the right hand Kessler landed in the 8th round that staggered Froch but it was just as effective and Kessler did do the better work to the body. In the rounds where very little happened (1-2-3) the judges may have looked at the body work as a factor.

tHEY shown me this ****ty vid of where dirrell punches all fall short/graze froch, and thsts there evidence.

Even though all the top pundits had it for froch, and froch bust dirrells face up the calzaghe bum boys and seething yanks still wont admit dirrell weas **** scared of froch.

      froch will learn from this...
Dirrell was awful that fight. Pascal, Taylor and Kessler hit Froch with 5 times more than anything Dirrell even thought about throwing. He ran, held , fell over did a few punches that occassioanlly looked like they might have landed. He did maybe 2 good hooks and a right hand and basically got jabbed in the head, hit with big hooks and chased around the ring for 10 rounds before he did anything worth mentioning. He then rightly lost a point before running around in the 12th again like a headless chicken. Literally trying to pull a high way robbery on the cobra. Easy Froch win.

Froch clearly won the third mate and Kessler landed perhaps 3 good body shots in the opening 2 rounds but took about 30 jabs to the head.

This really is Saurerland home cooking at its finest.

Froch also landed his own body shots you should note.
then tell me why you could hear Froch complain in his corner saying: " hes killing me, hes F...... killing me with his bodyshots"

I don't listen to what the fighters say between rounds to score them.

If those shots were landing then they really were not as numerous as people were making out. Kessler was probably saying to his corner "close this ****ing cut man".... If I'd heard that should I have given more rounds to Froch? lol no.

Look either way you look at it, it was a close fight. Now you being Froch fans are going to score the close rounds to Froch because thats the way it is, the general consensus is that it was a just decision. The scorecards were crazy sure, but the right man won.

It's the same with myself, I think Martinez beat Williams but it was close I'm a big martinez fan and I know that when scoring that fight I probably give the close rounds to Martinez when it could go either way which is why I was mad at the decision.

You can't say it was homecooking when most of the people that watched it thought Kessler won. AND i highly doubt it was only 3 body punches, if it were Froch wouldn't have complained to his trainer that they were "killing him" and he wouldn't have acknoledged post fight that they were part of the reason he slowed down.

please stop this Froch-like bitching BS! Kessler was closer to beating Calzaghe than Froch was of beating Kessler..

I said there were 3 after the first two rounds... if that. Sure, it was a close fight.... when you've got guys like Tilleman judging.

Man, people say Kessler won because everyone was watching a stream and 80% of people on this forum hate Froch or just lvoe Kessler.

I mean there were people scoring it 'cearly' for Kessler 9-3/8-4. Lmfao.

it has nothing to do with the score! but when you hear Froch saying that, then you know Kesslers bodywork hurt him (Froch is tough, Ill give him that).

the cut on Kessler came from a clash of heads again (this time by accident though) so it had nothing to do with the score of course, but the cuts on Froch came from Kessler gloves for sure.
