Unfortunately America is full of sick people that are gonna think what they wanna think pre and post Floyd. One minute it's rap music now it's Floyd's easily overlooked mouth? Any intelligent person will see Floyd for what he is "A BOXER" not a teacher, politician, policeman, doctor, etc but "A BOXER" and a damn good one at that.
It's frusterating to say the least and still doesn't make it right.
Floyd is a good boxer, don't get me wrong, but he is in the "Check Cashing business"...so he is not only a boxer.

Ali was still someone to be proud of and admired and someone who stood for something. Mayweather is just ****** ignorance at it's best and I'm glad that someone finally addressed it. Although Hopkins also made similar statements in a recent phone interview.
gtfoh with that mess. We have a black president for peace-sake. If you want a black model look to him or Henry Gates, Michael Dyson or some other prominent black out there. Floyd never claimed to be an ambassador for the black community. He's not an embarssment to the black community, he's an ebarrasment to himself and his family's name. It's 2010, kill that noise.
The comparison to Ali is not appropriate because Ali took a stand for political issues and his religion alike. But you can't deny the fact that Ali was hated. Ali set out to be hated, he learned from a wrestler that gab puts butts in seats. A good portion of the black community that was not ****** didn't like Ali. They also hated how he called other black fighters uncle toms. So there are some similarities in regards to their intentions... MONEY

I think your ignorant for thinking that the trash talking of a fighter should have any reflection of our community and I think ****m's comments were just as ignorant. A big problem in our community is Father's not taking care of their kids not incessant talking. I'm just curious because it seems to me like you guys have heard Floyd say some brash political comments when all this guy does is talk about how he's going to do his Job and beat up his opponent, spend the money he's earned, and brag that he makes a lot of money. yeah i know its unsettling for some to see a black man with money I guess all the celebutauntes are "******" too when their out here acting a damn fool. Do people say they are an insult to the white community. Whenever a black man does what he wants and doesn't fit into the box that society has deemed fit for him people say its "******" or he is a disgrace.

Very well said my dude. My comparison of Ali and Floyd stems only from their brashness, ability to overlook the BS and maneuver around the prejudice press and of course their quickness, ring intelligence and ability to back it up in the ring. Your right Ali was not this well liked individual back in the day by both his own and white America. Clearly these people speaking of Ali today haven't did their homework. As for Bro.Naz he needs to focus on being a good trainer because B-Hop and Shane were established long before anybody knew his name while Floyd seems to be a bit of his dad and a bit of his uncle Roger all in one. Add ****iness (although sometimes annoying) to the mix and you have one of the most famous sports figures ever.

Brother Naz needs to be thankful to Floyd for the platform he has created that allows Naz the opportunity to be on such a big stage especially after the Hopkins/Jones 2 fiasco. He didn't look like such an amazing trainer in that fight
so before he becomes a zen he needs to get some consistent masterwork under his belt.

If Floyd's talking this much about mosley can you imagine the trash talk toward Pacquiao after what transpired this winter... epic. I gotta be honest and I'm not sure Manny can handle that in stride. Especially after he had to resort to a lawsuit. His feelings might be so hurt from the 24/7 he'll call off the fight again.
TESTING!!!

why do some people say fraud gayweathers trash talking is to hype the fight to put bu.t.ts in the seats and get people to buy the PPV? not in my case...i will watch a fight not because of hype/trash talking...i will watch it because of who is fighting.
and if you ask me, i dont believe fraud gayweather is trash talking to hype the fight...fraud is just ignorant and immature (can you say "duhhhh")...fraud talks about how shane direspected father mosley...but fraud cannot see that he himself disrespects many people and the sports of boxing.
