  • Comments Thread For: The Zen of ****m: Mosley-Mayweather 24/7 P3 Reviewed

By Cliff Rold - Previously on 24-7, trainers talked trash to each other, Floyd Mayweather talked trash in general, Shane Mosley went into family issues, and ****m Richardson spit wisdom (he does a lot of that). All in a half hour. What twists and turns await this week? The fight is a week away, it’s only (insert rates for standard and high definition here)…

As much as I love Floyd's skillset and watching his fights, it's this mentality that makes me hate his character.

I like 24/7 it serves its purpose to hype up the fight. It is inevitably repetitive but I think limiting it to two episodes would rectify that. If Floyd's talking this much about mosley can you imagine the trash talk toward Pacquiao after what transpired this winter... epic. I gotta be honest and I'm not sure Manny can handle that in stride. Especially after he had to resort to a lawsuit. His feelings might be so hurt from the 24/7 he'll call off the fight again.

Honestly I just gotta respect him being real with his ****. It's just shocking to me that he has remained so driven, works so hard, and so intense in preparation with only money as his main motivator. Then again it's not just the money its also the responsibility to take care of his family and I just can't believe this guy doesn't truly love the sport. By his character do you mean the character he displays to promote his fights or do you mean his character and values as a man?

Can you imagine the number of racist Photoshopped pictures and facebook pages and lawsuits and boycotts and petitions from the Pac fans.....

He definitely likes his money but the talk about him only fighting for money is BS to me. He get's pretty emotional after fights and think it goes beyond just excitement over a paycheck.

Can anybody tell me how many fights Shane has had with Richardson in his corner?

He's only had 1 fight with Naazim, this will be the second.

Thanks Chip. Haven't seen the mayorga fight yet, so I wasn't sure.

I thought this episode wasn't all that great. The part where they were making fun of them with the towel was hilarious though. Can't wait til Saturday.
