It has been common practice for more than 20 years (since around the time of Luis Resto-Billy Collins fight) for a representative from the opposing corner to observe a fighter's hands being wrapped. All boxing commissions allow/require it to prevent cheating and questions about illegalities. What happened in the Margarito/Mosley fight was the the representatives from the California Commission (who have since been fired) allowed Margarito's trainer to wrap his hands prior to Richardson coming into the locker room to observe. In fact the commissioners did not watch the hands being w****d.Your an idiot. It's a trainers job to protect his fighter by watching the opponent wrap his hands. It's perfectly legal and should be encouraged. It's not like your doing anything wrong by watching. He's done it and has proven to be a viable asset to his fighter by doing so. What's the problem? I also highly doubt there was any forcing going on. Especially these days where it's more and more common for fighters trainers to watch their opponents wrap the hands. Just lay off the hatorade for a day.
When Richardson arrived and saw that his hands were already wrapped, he examined them and demanded that they be rewrapped in his presence, per commission rules. That is how they found out about the cheating. If Cotto's representative did not actually observe Margarito's hands being wrapped, Margarito could have gotten away with cheating in that fight. However, if Cotto's rep actually witnessed the wrapping (as he should have) there was likely no cheating involved.Comment

My thing is this: Other young black males flash their money around. Other young black males have talked ****. Are they, too, a shame to their race? Was Naazim commentating on society as a whole, or just insulting Floyd only?see Syf...
its not that i think Naz is some great trainer.
i respect what he does... and i respect the fact he uses some old school strategies.
but all of these guys on here act like Naazim dropped some crazy **** on 24/7 by calling Floyd the scourge of black people.
why cant he talk **** but Floyd says inflammatory statements everytime he is on camera?
i understand its playing the villain....but he REALLY believes that ****.
what floyd says day in and day out its way more disrespectful than ONE statement from Naazim
that is the point for me defending Naazim
i like him as a trainer and from what i have SEEN of him on 24/7 and other clips and shows i like his personality.
he is a blue collared guy who respects everything he has been blessed with in life.
while floyd flaunts EVERYTHING about his life and then trys to act like he is humble.
**** THAT FAKE ****
If he was insulting Floyd only, didn't he say he was above that back and forth stuff? Didn't he say it was like grade school **** and it wouldn't effect him? Yet he getting heated and taking it racial.
Somethin don't add up to meComment

Common? It's a requirement of the commission. The trainers are meant to be there for the wrapping of the opponents hands.Your an idiot. The deal with ****m was that Trinidad had them wrapped already when they all went down there to get it done, which is strictly against the rules.
Anyway, TS, you are an absolute ****ing moron. ****m didn't suspect anything, he wasn't doing anything different than any other fights he's ever been in. He goes to watch the wraps being done for every single fight and in those cases he noticed something bad and brought it up. That's a good thing.
I swear to god, this is so sad. If Mayweather wasn't fighting Mosley, you'd be praising him for his concentration and diligence.Comment
