im american first off, but im getting sick of the excuse for american heavyweights.... im getting sick of "oh well all the big guys are playing football, or basketball" america isn't the only place in the world with sports...... its really annoying, and used quite often on this forum as an excuse to why american heavyweights aren't doing good currently.........

as a guy that owned a gym and trained fighters, if he's not getting the same amount of HW contenders to train, as he was in his heydey, i'm sure he'd know.

yeah..... you guys act like america is the only place with other sports...
eastern europe they do combat sambo, mma, judo, hockey, etc.... so if there not doing good they can make an excuse to.....

i dont see it as an excuse, i see it as what's exactly happening. There are no heavies from america. Heavyweight Boxing has'nt been very popular, but there are some youngsters comming up. You can't deny, the heavies, no matter from what country, suck. The heavyweight division basically stinks, and hasn't ever been this bad.
