None of what you say above contradicts what The Ring said - if anything, it backs it up. (Okay, I'd forgotten about the Zuniga fight, but it doesn't really affect the substance of what I said). And none of what you said above supports your other theory about it just being a matter of Showtime not wanting a Canadian-Romanian in the tourney.
Also, if the latter were the case, I would have expected Bute to have complained, as I said before - especially as Showtime were claiming that the tournament was to decide who the #1 Super Middleweight in the world is, which I would have expected Bute to contradict angrily - and he didn't, which also backs up what The Ring said, that he was informally consulted by Showtime, but because of the Andrade rematch being non-negotiable, was never invited; and that that was by mutual consent.
so you don't know how the IBF positionned itself ? would they have stripped Bute ?
I guess you will not be in SA to give the England Boys a kicking then.
English Soccer Hooligans dont have the money to travel to Africa for the World Cup and if they did they would just get trounced by the Brazilian fans anyway.
Growing up here in the US and hosting a World Cup I had the pleasure of attending 3 matches including the Final at the Rose Bowl. English fans were among the weakest and sickliest bunch at any match.
Plus, we both know that "hooligans" only attend soccer matches within a bus ride of their government subsidized housing so don't act like I would get a worthwhile fight if I traveled all the way to SA for a few soccer matches.

England failed to qualify in that tournament, most fans/hooligans didn't travel over.
As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Arthur Abraham is confident the fight with Carl Froch, set for August 21, will head off to Germany. Froch says there is a pre-existing agreement to stage the fight in the UK, and if he's forced to fight Abraham in Germany, then he will quit Showtime's tournament, the Super Six Boxing Classic.
dosnt matter if he fights in england or not...either way the outcome of fighting arthur wont be easy for him would be war probably as brutal as froch vs kessler or maybe even more..

Arthur doesn't know how to press a fight hard enough to make it a war.
He stands around and does nothing for as long as possible. Not a good matchup for a guy who likes to fight and has a sturdy chin like Froch.

While he has shown a strong chin, he does get shaken. His legs took a slight wobble to Kessler, and Dirrell had him stunned at one point, i have no doubt Abraham would hurt Carl.
Kessler attacked Carl's body all night, he admitted that hurt him, but like you stated, Abraham isn't active enough to put pressure to Froch...but he can hurt Froch with a shot. Froch will need to find a way through Abe's tutrtle shell.

arthur is weird that way yes lol but hes a tough son of a and also hes a late starter so i think he does a trick where he tires down his opponent abit and then in the late rounds turn up the heat and take em down china town booya style..
