Most people had no doubt that AA would KTFO of Dirrell with the 1st solid punch he landed. He landed several and never phased him. Froch's chin is better than that.

AA's power is overrated and has only been proven against vastly overmatched opponents.

Carl has a very good jab and with his style he can ram them home and force AA to be the one to commit to wild attacks and leave himself prone.

Initially I thought this matchup was advantage to AA but after seeing the way Froch was able to compete on a technical level with kessler I think he can outsmart AA.

He stands around and does nothing for as long as possible. Not a good matchup for a guy who likes to fight and has a sturdy chin like Froch.
Abraham does best against come forward brawlers. It's skilled boxers with good lateral movement and a high workrate that cause him problems. I'd be very surprised if Froch can beat Abraham. He's just too easy to hit. And I doubt he's skilled enough to get many clean punches through Abraham's defence.

Wow, nice post. Someone being reasonable for a change. Froch is still so underrated it's insane. I'm not sure what he has to do to get any credit. Maybe fight a K-bro?

          • Thing is, Froch was hurt in the ring by his last two opponents and floored by the one before that, so whether England or Germany he is going to get ****** out in my opinion.

Abraham will land on Froch and will drop him, so really it doestn matter. Where ever pays more I guess

Abraham got his ass beat for every minute of every round against a guy that couldn't land on Froch. He's an easy target, Carl is much bigger, taller with a huge reach advantage.

He isn't ****** he will beat AA's ass from the outside and wait for him to get desperate.

                • You people are ****ing idiots. Why do you blame froch for the bad decison in nottingham, blame the ****ing judges, in a sport which lets be honest is dying all you people want is to squeeze the life from it a little bit more. How is it going to help anybody if all you want to happen is in the next fight theres another terrible decision so it "evens its self out" instead of just putting it past you and getting it right the next time.

So annoying how some of you go on saying "haha froch now you know what it feels like" ****ing grow up and understand that the boxers shouldnt be punished for something thats the judges fault.
