Lets just admit people, the towel waving is just fun to him, it doesnt actually improve a fighter in any way. Of all the things you can swing to get your boxers reaction, you swinging a towel?

I have nothing bad to say about Richardson, but this is plain to see.

i'll assume that I can't use the search function and see you being critical of something a fighter has done.

      Right, Pernell?

The thing is, you say who has Naazim trained from being a raw prospect into a world class boxer, but what if the guys he had just weren't great talents? Just because you're an amazing amateur doesn't mean you'll be a fantastic professional....I mean the moment you take the head gear off it becomes a completely different game. Someone else noted, what if the guys he has just don't have the desire? You keep saying who has he taken from a raw talent to a world champ, but then Roger hasn't done **** either! He's had plenty of other fighters who haven't done ****, lets face it...Floyd is an exceptional and amazing talent and they don't come everyday. Not to mention Floyd Snr was the one who taught Floyd how to fight, Roger just took over as his coach when he turned pro...boxing runs deep in their family and they all have amazing natural ability, Roger and Floyd Snr included....Naazim's kids probably aren't as talented or have as much desire, does not mean Naazim is a bad coach. I think he's an excellent coach and his tactical awareness seems sound.

I'm sure I have, but I'm not going to criticize a training technique that any trainer comes up with.

EXACTLY. That's all it is. Everybody has their personal quirk. And that's fine.

But these newbies are acting like that towel is revolutionizing training. I wonder how Willi Pep, Sweet Pea and FMJ ever learned to move their head?

Just stop with the disrespect of Naazim and his resume, have you done better? If no, you need to stfu. Listen to Naazim when he speaks about the towel technique, it just keeps them on their toes when they don't expect it.

Roger did not train Floyd in the beginning, it was Sr. And I'm sure Roger and Floyds pad routine is the greatest thing since cake and ice cream.

The pad routine is exactly that. A routine. Its an exercise.

You honestly believe his waving a towel keep his fighters on their toes? Do you know anything that travels slower and is softer then cloth? Is that whats supposed to keep your reflexes sharp? Come on man.

I think he does it for fun.

So, to criticize a fighter, that means you yourself must be some top-flight ATG with a sterling resume...right?

Get over yourself. The towel thing is just 24/7's way of giving you newbies something to talk about. The towel doesn't revolutionize training.

If you are hitting a heavy bag and something comes at you at the corner of you eye and you react to it, regardless how fast its coming at you. Then yes, it helps your reflexes. why don't you send a letter to Mosley's camp so Naazim can tie a lock to the end of the towel so it won't be soft.

And yes he does it to mess with people when not in the gym.

Look bro, its not a technique.

                    Its just something Richardson does.

Remember, guys... Brother Naazim has never developed a top fighter.

                      Never.
Neither has Roger Mayweather or Floyd Mayweather Sr., outside of Floyd Jr. Who else has Roger developed into a top fighter?

The reality of it is, Naazim knows how to create gameplans for his fighters to win! Thats the bottom line..
