When they fight you will realise how untrue that really is..........

Cloud for some reason seems hesitant to fight Johnson, i wonder why he hasn't signed the fight already? I read that he had 90 days ( from the day i read it which was last month i believe) to defend the title or he'll be stripped.

How can you say that Dawson signed, agreed, was willing to fight Diaconu. But, it was Diaconu who pulled but yet Dawson didn't want no part of him? It makes no sense...
Diaconu pulled out because of an injury on his wrist, which is legit. Why did Dawson dropped his WBC belt to fight Tarver who was less of a threat, and clearly a faded boxer?

And what did the Tarver win get Dawson? Nothing, no recognition from both Calzaghe and Hopkins,. In terms of rankings and status, had he just kept his WBC belt and fought Diaconu in March or the summer of 2008, he would of gained more respect.

Granted the sanctioning bodes have been unfair to Dawson.
Tarver had a rematch clause which he exercised. Not only that, why would anyone choose to fight Cloud over Tarver when Cloud himself has done nothing to further his marketability or career. His latest "injury" further proves my point as AGAIN he has continued to be inactive pulling out of the Johnson fight. Dawson would not be where he is at right now if he would have gone the route you criticize him for.

Fact of the matter, Johnson, Tarver, Adamek, Pascal are generally considered the bigger and BETTER names in the LHW division and Dawson has handled, WILL handle them accordingly. Your opinion is misguided due to personal issues you may have with Dawson.

I hope he fights the dude too. I was always pro-Johnson in that fight even though I would've liked to see a Dawson-Cloud fight somewhere down the line, but Tavoris has lost a lot of points in my book. I never thought he was hurt. Now I'm totally rooting for Johnson to win that fight.

Diaconu was also beaten twice by Pascal and the second time with one hand. If Dawson beats Pascal in August, those excuses to not give Dawson credit has to go down the drain.

I doubt its gonna happen in July. I don't think Cloud wants to fight, and Devon isn't gonna find an opponent unless he moves up to 147 like Bradley was going to do.

I'm going to go with pwnage here. Stop arguing Boxingwizard. Let's talk about the actual thread topic.

If Dawson fought Diaconu in March 2008 instead of Glen Johnson, Dawson would still have his WBC belt.
