Seriously, they were completely ignoring Casa's good bodyshots and jabs in the early parts of the fight rds 4-5 and were just jockeying on Diamonds aggressiveness. I thought Casa won the 1st with the knockdown, 3rd, 6th, 10th, 11th, and the 12th just barely. Diamond landed harder shots in the middle rounds and hit Casa with a few good combo's here and there (the 4 punch combo in the 8th).

This fight was hardly robbery, I can see how some might give KD a 7-5 advantage, but I think 116-111 or whatever you guys are saying is ludicrous.

Np man, and yeah thats the biggest load of **** ive ever seen. Diamond got robbed, they should re match and have Diamond drop casa.

I also am a big fan of Diamond, so i guess i was blown out of proportion saying it was a robbery, but I truly think Diamond won that fight.

yea diamond looked good but he also looked very anxious i would be interested to see whether he has a early round ko of casa in rematch that right hand is deadly.

A lot of people don't know this but when they say "power punches" all they mean is any punch that isn't a jab. They make it seem like they are hard punches but a lot of times they aren't. All those weak punches Kid Diamond threw when he was off-balance count as power punches when they really have no power on them at all. Same goes for Casamayor. You can't ignore the jab when you consider who won. I also believe the fight was a lot closer than the HBO commentary was saying. I never thought they were biased until I saw this fight. It was a very close fight. You could lean towards KD for being more aggressive in most rounds or you could lean towards Casa for actually showing some boxing skill. KD looked far too sloppy. He was off balance after so many of his punches. Ali wasn't always coming forward and he beat the crap out of very aggressive fighters. So aggression only counts if it is effective.

You never thought HBO was biased? You more than likely won't find a more biased crew anywhere else in boxing.

The only thing I saw that I liked from Diamond is how quick his right hand is. He tends to wing it sometimes though and he'd be much better off by just throwing it straight down the chute.

He didn't show me too much else, and it was evident that Casamayor wasn't the same fighter anymore (although he's still very good). You could just tell that one guy was energetic and young and the other guy is getting on in years.

I hope to see more of KD in the future though he seems like he could be polished into a pretty good fighter.
