He's the oppositie he is alot like Martinez slick, but with more power and possibly even more speed fight night if Martinez moved up in weight! if you match martinez up against the super six, martinez isn't getting past any of those guys easily.

martinez doesn't even want to fight at 160, he wants to fight at 154. asking martinez to fight at 168 is asking martinez to get his ass whuppped.

well, we'll agree to disagree. I'd love to see this fight and think it would make for a great show. But seeing this thread, I think Bute shouldn't take it. Its never good to go into a hard fight that everyone thinks you should win easily. Even if you win, you lose.

3. Both HBO fighters, both fought on the same card, so Bute fans have seen MArtinez, and Martinez fans have seen Bute. Easy to sell this fight.

Wow my dude, Martinez engages. Bute stalks only so he can move back again. I've watched most of Bute's career fammo.

he also gets hit a lot - but that's a different story (he keeps his chin pretty high up, very robotic in his posture).

He does his best work when he moves in, forces you to engage and lands something whilst moving back out/countering.
