I respect your opinion but im sticking to mine. I still love Valero the boxer. I pray for him and his wife and kids every night.

    Everyone else should too
If Valero beat up your mother, killed your wife and then killed himself would you pray for him every night and hope that he rests in peace?

    Didn't think so.

Burn in hell Valero, you piece of ****.

Im sick of everyone talking **** about the guy. He is a boxer for god sakes, Support this guy. Not as the guy he was outside the ring, support the Edwin Valero who was in the ring and as a boxer. I fkn miss Edwin Valero man even tho ive never met or known him. Ive been a fan of his for 4 years and I almost cried when I heard about when he committed the murder then when he committed suicide.

I do not support what he did to his wife. Me and everyone else on this board agree that it was ****** to do that. But we all have to think, If we had the same up-bringing as Edwin wouldnt we be going through the same **** he went through? The guy wasnt the way he was on choice. He had a rough life and mixed with psycological problems that is horrible for one to deal with.

We cannot judge one person without walking in the same shoes as that person

      RIP Edwin Valero
      RIP Jennifer Carolina
And my prayers go out to their 2 children and the rest of the families

You can all hate me and flame me all you want. Edwin at heart was a good guy but dont judge a guy on his actions when they have mental problems. Never judge a person without walking in the same shoes as them.
**** you, bleeding heart *****. Sometimes, a man has to take responsibility for his own actions. And one of those times is when you continually beat your family and then BRUTALLY MURDER YOUR WIFE. I'm for letting the man's memory die, but as long as people keep trying to say he's a victim, I'm going to reiterate this.

TS: The way this thread is worded, you're begging people to flame you.

But, to be honest, I get what you're saying. After death, no one has the right to judge, really.

People can say **** him and I have to agree. Once your insanity causes you to harm an innocent person, you deserve all the punishment other humans can inflict on you. If that torment takes you to a place where you feel you have to kill yourself, then you only have yourself to blame for getting there. You did take the life of an innocent. You don't deserve the gift that is life itself.

Was he a victim of his upbringing? You can argue yes, but then with that logic you can get Hitler off his crimes.

I just hope his children will be strong and wise.

Life isn't black and white, its different shades of gray. I ain't hating on you TS.

And to the poster who said "according to the catholic religon", I just have this to say: According to the Catholic Religion, we're all going to hell.

          See you there man.

Boxing is a sport, it's also entertainment. Watching Valero destroy opponents in the ring was entertaining and to some (like TS) he became like a superhero to them. A crazy fighter on your computer or TV screen.

But in reality, Valero was not a nice person it seems. Many articles point to this. And, of course, he killed his beautiful wife. He didn't just kill her though, he used to pretty much torture her.

We all have our su****ions about Valero's mental health because of the motorcycle accident and because he was a boxer taking blows to the head. But the drugs and alchohol are very vital in this argument. His natural anger combined with things like vodka and ******* are most likely the main reasons he killed his wife.

From all accounts, Valero had a tough young life. Someone from the mean streets. He obviously had a lot of issues. But he also had a lot of opportunities that people from the same types of background don't have.

People can think and feel whatever they want. Just don't expect for somebody who killed their wife (who he had been with for 10 years supposedly) not to get criticized.

              Best reply yet.

Valero is not going to get much sympathy.

Lesson here. Don't do ******* man.

              That's a ****ed up drug!!

                Women have big hearts, eh?

I mean if one of my boys was naturally violent, then added ******* + alcohol to the mix, I'd steer clear big time. Champion or not, I wouldn't chill with him, let alone stay with him for 10 years.

                Fuc man what a shame.

I'll pray for Valero right after I pray for Tony Ayala and Ike Ibeabuchi. But at least their victims lived. All three are in the wasted talent hall of fame. Sorry, but anyone with decent moral values considers Valero trash.

I don't hate him but I have no respect for him and no pitty. It is not like we lost him to a murder or some accident, he made his choices and these choices destroyed the little respect I might have had for him.

Funny but there alot of "poor Valero" threads but little about Mrs. Valero who is still the victim here.
