One of my best friends grew up around and alcohol, had no parents and took drugs and drank as a teenager.... He never brutally killed anyone and today is a model citizen. You make your own choices in life, drink, drugs, you can't use these things as excuses for someone.

and for the person who said if we were in his shoes, trust me.. I'd never be there because I'm not mentally weak that I need drink or drugs to hide behind to forget my problems or use as an excuse.
