Point well taken, but Margarito is a knockout artist at 147. Cotto is not the first person he beat down at 147. He's knockouted out plenty of guys at147, even at 154. This is what he does. You wouldn't expect Pac to do the same would you?
It could be that his trainer thought that Shane was a faster fighter than Cotto, so to slow him down, his punches had to have more of an effect. I'm not saying that's what it was, but it could be a possibility, just as it was possible that he used padded gloves against Cotto. Neither one of us knows which one it is.
Also, it's crazy for people to think that Pac can come from the lighter weightclasses and be able to increase his power to the point where he's demolishing much bigger guys, not to mention being able to take their punches. By him refusing to take a blood test it appears to me as if he has something to hide.
