Ali was the greatest. He got in the ring and wasnt afraid to be hit. It's why he is the way he is now. Ali was a monster in the ring. He would stand and go toe to toe. He would get knocked down and get back up and win. Dont ever, ever, ever, ever, ever try and compare Ali to floyd. Ali has nuts,at welter floyd doesnt. Now,your turn.Comment

He didnt embarass DLH or Judah. You could say he embarassed JMM. Then again not taking out someone who had no business at that weight is embarasing to me. I'd say Hatton was embarassing. Though it was competative for 5 rounds. Anyone getting KO'd at welter by floyd should be embarassed.Comment

I just dont like fake people. If you fight soft in the ring, dont talk like a hard ass out side of the ring. Hardasses dont need 7 bodyguards. If you say you're the greatest, then show me in the ring. Show me you can handle all adversities. Don't handpick your opponents. Dont retire at 30 after entering a division full of talent. That's all I ask. If he goes toe to toe with Shane and wins,I will give him all props. Floyd doesnt believe in himself to do it though. Outpointing a 38 yr old Mosley is good, not great. Hell,Mayorga gave Shane problems.Comment

I don't know...
But, I do know at the time at 154 that version of Oscar. I would have favor Spinks, Forrest, Martinez, Dzinziruk
And, at 147 Shane, Margarito, even Cotto...
There are weight-classes for the reason. But, I would not have been shocked if Pacquiao would of went to 154 and beat that version of Oscar. I could of cared less that if Oscar would of out weight him by 20lbs....
That was not the 90's version of Oscar. He was not in his prime anymore... He was a PARTIME fighter, FULLTIME promoter. He was getting schooled by Calderon in sparring. On the real he would could not touch a straweight...Comment

if the fight was contracted at 154, Roach would have refused as usualComment

I never realized Oscar weighed 165 on fight night. I wouldnt say floyd beat Oscar. Oscar gave the fight away. I had it 4-4 through 8 rounds. Then,Oscar did what he does best, faded down the stretch. That was not an impressive victory for floyd. Especially with DLH being on the downside of his career.Comment

JMM was a perfect example of what Im saying. You could say floyd walked through JMM by winning every round. You could also say floyd could've taken out JMM whenever he wanted but refused to go for it. It would've played into what JMM does best, counterpunching. Floyd had the right gameplan but it was very underwhelming to me. Cotto,Margarito,Shane,Berto,Mosely and even Pac(at that weight) would've knocked JMM out.Comment
