his taxes is paid and he can continue to avoid the big threat in mosley why would a chump like floyd take the hard road and fight two back to back threats like mosley and pacquaio it makes no sense.

according to people on this site floyd is no thug or hoodlum so this floyd is from the hood talk makes no sense.

yep, I heard that, but team mayweather still threw campbelll's name out there. just cause they didnt call up campbell to begins negotiations doesn't mean floyd wasn't interested in fighting him. what we do know is that floyd didn't mention mosley until HBO forced him to fight mosley or not fight at all.

Good interview but there's some factual mistakes in that interview

Floyd doesn't take 100% of his money. He has to pay his advisors, his trainers, and all the other guys in his team.

This is not the first time Povetkin asks for more stringent drug testing. Shelly Finkel said that they already had a fight fall apart from that in the past.

Shane hasn't really been playing the back and forth game with Floyd. In many of his interviews, he doesn't say anything and just says "Thats Floyd"

Also, Floyd has been challenged a couple times. There's a difference between losing and being challenged.

The earthquake hit Haiti, January 12th. At that time, Shane and Berto were still going to fight. So, how could he mention Mosley when Mosley was scheduled to fight Andre Berto a few weeks later? Think.

I'm trying to follow your logic.... so help me.

Are you saying that because the odds makers are favoring Floyd in the fight (now less than two weeks away) Floyd knew he would be the favorite when he signed the fight back in Feb and thats one of the primary reasons he took the fight?

It appears your knock on Floyd is that he only takes fights that he knows he can win.... when he could be they type of fighter that takes on anyone.

Would he be a favorite against PAC, Berto, Margarito, Cotto?

Who in your opinion could he fight that he isn't favored by the odds makers?

Emotions aside, Mosley was the logical fight for Floyd. By taking this fight, He can make a lot of money and at the same time, an opportunity to be a welterweight champion again. We should all admire Floyd for taking this high-risk-high-reward fight.

mosley was calling out floyd way before berto/mosley was even signed.

it's not about odds makers. floyd is a gambler. he knows how to manage risk. floyd is willing to gamble with money because he can always make money. but he's not willing to gamble with his '0' because once he loses it he can't get it back.

floyd will size up potential opponents and calculate who poses the most risk. the ones that are risky fights, he'd rather not fight and make excuses as to why they can't happen. the ones he knows he can beat with minimal risk to his '0' he will call out.
