I've heard it all. You idiots never cease to amaze me. I'm nigh speechless, staring at my monitor in pure astonishment. I've never come across a group of people, scratch that, a cult, as idiotic, blind, and driven by hate as those who consider themselves Pacquiao fans. I'm seriously beyond belief.
I mean my really, you're going to actually attempt to argue that JMM gave Floyd even the slightest bit of trouble? The man didn't win a single round, and was completely at loss as far as strategy was concerned. Notice how a rematch never crossed his mind after the Mayweather loss as it did when he was robbed in the second Pacquiao fight?
And for those who are droning on about JMM's lack of offensive skill, you're blind. In two fights with the current p4p #1 fighter in the world than man put on a boxing clinic, tagging his opposition at will. Write as off as him being a skilled counter puncher if you wish, but counter punching is an offensive based technique. Counter punching IS offense.
All you fools should be banned based upon ******ity alone.

Now you defending pavlik and saying that the cut was the reason why he lost the fight might suggest you that it's time for you to follow a different sport..pavlik looked like **** from the get go..he has no skills he has nothing..the only thing he use to posses was a strong right..but looks like he lost that too..someone who doesn't know how to box won't succeed with the best game plan.
He was going up against a speedy Martinez that he was in no way going to be able to keep up with in the early rounds because of lack of speed. so he stalked, measured distance and let martinez expend energy. by round 6 Pavlik was in full control of the fight and making martinez work extra hard to create space to work with, and came in behind the double jab. it was an excellent gameplan.

FLoyd used 2%.....get out of here with tht bull****. Pacquiao knocked Marquez down 3 times in one fight. Pacquiao maybe gave 100 percent more agianst Hatton and DLH but look Floyd didn't looke good in those fights. We know that Pac gave 100 more than Floyd agianst Cotto because Floyd would never in a million years fight prime Cotto before Margarito.
One could say that pacquiao lost both fights to JMM..doesnt matter how many times he went down..klitschko went down against samuel peter he still whopped his ass at the end and it's funny how you mention that floyd didnt wanna fight cotto..why didnt pacquiao fight him when he was undefeated????
Freddy roach called cotto "shot" and he said de la hoya couldnt "pull the trigger" anymore..see how arum and roach cherry pick pacs opponents...and what about freddy admitting that shane mosley was too dangerous for pacquiao???? answer that!!!!!
Floyd fighting shane means more than pacquiao fighting his last 6 or 7 people...floyd is fighting someone who roach was afraid to put in against his pupil..and see how sneaky roach and arum are letting pacquiao fight cotto the man who got smashed by the plaster man and plus cotto came in without any real corner help..santiago didnt even have plan A to start with lol
thatnks to roach and arum and thanks to ariza pacquiaos fake popularity is where it is now.

I simply don't see how that strategy could work against someone taller, faster, and has a much better jab than the shorter guy. I just see Phony Boy keeping Juanita at the end of his jab, over and over again.
In order for Juanita to be competitive, he'd have to press more, but I do think he would've been busier at the lower weights.

Marquez is just a smaller, older, slower version of Floyd...
It was obvious he was handpicked for Floyd's first fight back in 18 months, it was ludicrous for Floyd to say Marquez was the best during that time lol that was just bull****t coming out of his mouth.
But wasnt it funny how Floyd didnt wait to see who the winner of Pac/Cotto was?

Forget saying Marquez is a terrible offensive fighter, I know he likes to counter punch but his offence was good enough to beat most of the guys he fought. Why was Marquez able to land at will against Pacquiao and hardly land at all against Mayweather? It has nothing to do with size, It's all about skills.
People will say Mayweather won because Marquez is a counter puncher. That's a ****** thing to say as Floyd is a counter puncher too. So it makes no difference. The thing is that in addition to counter punching Mayweather is also a very good defensive fighter (unlike Marquez) and can use the jab and right hand better than Marquez. This is why he beat him so convingly, Because he has more aspects to his game than Marquez does.
The absolute best way to put it, right there.
Marquez and Floyd are both counter punchers, but floyd is also a defensive fighter. Beautiful.
