Ever seen Marquez vs Gainer? You know how awkward he looked against him?
Well considering he IS a counter-puncher, I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

BTW, the cut was opened by JMM offense with a 1-2 and he attacked the whole round after...

Either way you cut it, he landed more and at a higher percentage.

If Mayweather fought Marquez at 130, and ATTACKED him all night long, you think he would dominate Marquez?

Mayweather sat back, and pot shotted the slower fat Marquez from a distance. The second he would try to finish Marquez is the second he would eat a 3 punch combination. You could see the frustration.

JMM got schooled by floyd, and the funny thing is floyd only used 2% of his skill to beat JMM...someone like pacquiao who only knows how to brawl might need to give 100% but not floyd..hes to smart hes too good.

I think what he's trying to say is... Let's blame Mayweather for refusing to fight Marquez's fight, and let's give credit to Pacquiao for not knowing how, or having the skills, to fight against Marquez.

No. Not overpower. Oversized, Marquez was.

Dude....you have Andre Dirrell as a Future P4P King and ATG after looking good for 3 or 4 rounds against an UNDERSIZED Abraham. If you want to see the difference size makes look at that fight. I'm a patriot but if Andre Dirrell is America's best hope, it's a sad day. Get out of here with your ignorance. Andre Dirrell is so terrible. I hope he gets disabled and never has to fight again.

pavlik had the right strategy for martinez and everything was going according to plan until he got that 2nd cut and couldnt execute the gameplan of cutting off the ring anymore due to lost sight.

But that's a completely different topic. maybe you should make a thread about it.

Mayweather beats a prime Marquez every day of the week. He's too fast. JMM is not good enough initiating the action, like someone else said. Floyd countered his counter punches, and made sure he controlled the range. It's an impossible fight for Marquez.

By saying this you are saying size doesn't matter.

for some it doesn't, like Leonard or Pacquiao, but for most it does.

Carlos Monzon beat Napoles because he was the bigger man.

Frazier beat Foster because he was the bigger man.

                      etc etc
