Oh great another thread where boxing fans take swipes at athletes who have made a hundred times more sacrifices in their lives than they ever have and yet they are still quitters because they didn't risk their health for a bunch of ungreatful idiots who payed a couple of bucks to see them.

Boxing would be so much better if it wasn't for the dumb as a rock fans.

can't blame Campbell for wanting another paycheck but against Ortiz he will get KTFO... good if he wants to go out like that.

Ugh he's been punched plenty of times so don't try to overexaggerate things. It's one thing to get punched but it's a completely other thing to get beaten to a pulp and to continue putting your health at risk. He was beaten, he knew it, you knew it, the whole crowd knew it. So why take additional punishment? Because fans payed money? *** the fans they had already gotten a great fight so don't give me that go out on your shield **** because they arn't warriors they are athletes and nobody should have to put their life on the line like that just to prove something to some macho jockstrap ******* boxing fan.

What heat are you talking about? Dying? Brain Damage?

Is that really your argument? That if boxers don't want to die or be brain dead when they get older they shouldn't box? Brave words coming from someone who will never box and instead eats Potato chips whil guys like V Ortiz are the ones in their risking their lives.

See this is the exact reason why so many boxers die in the ring and you obviously have no soul.

who the **** said anything about dying or brain damage? don't put words in my mouth.

I'm just saying if he wants a safer line of work, he can pursue that. boxing may not be for him.

If he had went down one more time, the fight would have been stopped without a doubt. Then I would just be calling him a young, inexperienced fighter who decided to go to toe toe with a dude with JMW power, but I'd still give him credit for beating him up for the first few rounds. But to just nod your head after you go down and quit, that's not gonna cut it in boxing. At least cover up and go down. And his "I'm too young to take this much damage, so I have a lot of thinking to do" statement in the post-fight interview just screwed himself over.

ortiz quit the very second **** got ugly in there. its not like he went on for 10+ rds of war & then quit when he had nothin left in the tank. he got rocked a few good times & his tail went in between his legs & he wanted no mas. thats why he gets so much critizism.

Ortiz was not beaten to a pulp. For the last knockdown, he went down without a clean punch landing on his face. Then he was up befoer 6. Walked around on steady legs, and decided he had enough. It happens all the time in boxing as it is his choice. But he must understand that there will be questions about his heart and willingness to go to the limit for the rest of his career.

                      I have Nate by UD.
