I don't discount that. He also is a two-division champ who holds a one-sided win over Winky Wright. PW is rated higher pound for pound on my list.
exactly, its like a fighter gets a little hype on this board and hes the best thing since sliced bread. i dnt get some of the logic ppl bring on this board.

Paul Williams is the only guy in the world who can be 38-1 and never get fights.

I wouldn't be surprised if Martinez decided to not fight Paul again.

No Paul Williams didn't win a world title at 154.

Martinez: struggled immensly!..got dropped ugly!..and arguably lost!! (again 110-119 WTF?!)

all the fighters are more well rounded, better skilled, and arguably have better resumes with in the last few years..true story..

Paul Williams is alright..I don't take anything away from the fact that he's a monster and a threat to EVERYONE from 140.1(*******s!..lol)-160..but uwanting to overrated him won't work until he stops looking so vulnerable against people who really shouldn't..and be more dominant in his key victories..that's all..
You my dude but you been on a Paul hate crusade all day...lol.

Quintana didnt outclass by him a mile. However Williams did that to him in the rematch.

How can you laugh at his wins then act like guys like Cotto wanted to fight him. You cant have it both ways. He couldnt get fights.

Who has he looked vunerable against?

Slick lefties? Excuse Paul for going out his way to fight guys that give him bad style matchups.

Pavlik was undisputed at MW and also undefeated at that weight. A win that trumps Williams' whole career to this point.

You seem to have no problem ranking Mosley over Cotto, despite Cotto's win over him.

You dont get how Mosley is ranked over Cotto. Like are you being serious right now?

How does that win trump Williams whole career. When Williams beat Martinez who just proved he was better then Pavlik.

              You arent making sense.
              A little feedback please.

                A cheating Margarito beat Cotto.
Mosley beat a non cheating Margarito.
Williams needed a gift to beat Martinez.

Fairly simple stuff, even for you.

You are grasping at straws here. He beat Verno Phillips for the interim WBO crown when the truth is, Phillips still should have had the IBF title on his waist - a belt he never lost in the ring. Let's be real here.

A "cheating" Margarito couldn't beat Williams.

And I think you need to go look up the word gift. That's absurd. People just throw terms around so lightly on these boards.

So you dont get how Mosley is ranked over Cotto because Cotto beat him in 2007? Are you serious?
