You know that I am no Williams fan, but those that may not like him always leave the FACT that he Kayoed Carlos in the rematch out of the equation. Its quite funny.

I have to agree with Burner on this one...P-Will made me a fan; the sport needs more P-Wills, Martinez, Moselys. Im my mind he is one of the best.

For the majority, I think people want him to beat Citron (convincingly) and win against Martinez again. That's understandable.

The Conundrum is that some "boxing fans" don't like P-Will. Why? He has the volume, the skill (despite what people say), the height, the toe-to toe mentality and the drive to fight any and all comers. I think he is right where he needs to be; IF he blasts through Citron, and win a rematch with P-Will he deserves to be called one of the best.

I don't remember hearing Martinez saying he lost? I heard from a translation him saying he lost the fight in a HBO hype video for Pavlik but that could mean he lost officially and not take into account his actual feelings.

If you was to make a highlight of the top 10 shots landed in the fight I have a feeling 9/10 would be from Martinez, Williams was only in the fight because of his stamina and punch output. So yes, on the technical aspect, Martinez was clearly landing the better, harder shots and slipping most of Williams'.

Didn't you? A lot of guys have him #3 after Pac and Mayweather.

He's a good fighter alright, just not a top of the scale p4p fighter, I like that he avenged the loss and yes, I think he'd definitely win the rubber match too but that fight is still fresh in my mind. He's no unstoppable monster, he can definitely be outboxed so people saying he would beat up Mayweather or Hopkins slightly annoys me. Work rate alone wont carry the day against those two.
