The difference is NOBODY thought he would beat De La Hoya. Morales whooped his ass the first fight. The only question about Cotto was did the Margarito fight ruin him. His skill set were never in question. I personally thought Hatton was going to maul him to death. With the exception of Oscar, I have picked NO ONE of having a realistic chance of beating Floyd since he came up from 135.

But who's fault is that, on the real bro? Only guy I think can beat floyd is pac. Margarito would have gotten the corralez treatmeant. Paul williams fight would have never happend. Cotto would have been a good fight with both of them in their primes but oscar wanted to play god and **** up the rankings (for money might I add). And the only guy I think can beat Pac is floyd. They need to fight each other for an epic fight that might not happen because after they fight each other boxing is over (at least they make it seem that way)..

Furthermore, I am sure people are refreshed by seeing a trainer who isn't nonsensical, speaks with some thought behind his statements, is distinct and intelligible with his statements, and has real credibility behind his sentiments. I am sure Roger appeals to some people but let's face it. He was a subpar champ who got his ass beat by everyone who should have beat him, and it's fairly obvious he lives through Floyd Jr.'s accomplishments that he could never have achieved himself.

Consider the following: Freddie Roach clearly admits he is "the best trainer because he has the best fighter". Who does Roger train that's worth anything besides Floyd?

I never heard anyone refer to him as Pretty Boy Roger. Theres nothing about the way he looks or acts now that would have surprised me 20 years ago when homeboy was still boxing.

How do you see Floyd beating Shane? Is there anything in particular you see in Shane as a weakness that can be exploited in this fight?

I am curious to hear some opinions on this because I personally don't see what Floyd has here that Shane can't handle.

Floyd can't hurt Shane if he hit him with Margarito's gloves. Floyd is fast, and counters well. Shane is fast and counters well, and puts combos together with POWER behind it. We have never seen Floyd hurt. Will he know what to do when he is rocked? Will he have Roy Jones Jr's heart getting off the canvas? Will his corner know what to do at all seeing Floyd getting busted up, or even cut for that matter?

Let's hear some thoughts here, pro Mosley and pro Floyd. I would really like to see what the variance in opinions are here at BoxingScene because I see this as Mosley's fight hands down.

First of all, does Roger already have a history of beating women? Now that you have answered that, why find it so hard to believe this young woman when she says he jumped on her in the apartment? Was Roger not arrested at the scene? If police arrive to the scene of a domestic disturbance, they have to investigate. If there are no visible signs someone was assaulted, they instruct one party to go down to the station to file a report. Apparently Roger roughed her up because they put the iron bracelets on him. Secondly, I knew of Melissa before Roger tried to train her. I was trying to get her modeling gigs. And third, she is a very humble woman. J Prince is a real street dude and there were two occasions that he had to put the boots to Floyds team members. In the gym and in the hotel where they made Floyd sit in the chair and watch. Floyd aint a street dude no matter how much he tries to portray this nor are the dudes around him. But James Prince is a real street dude in the music/boxing industry. If you think for one millisecond that if he had some business to handle with Floyd that he wouldnt have a team of goons march right past those bodybuilders with GUNS DRAWN to go in that gym you are NUTS.

It's a pleasure to hear brother ****m impart his knowledge of the sport, situations and people! He is the "X" factor on this fight and I know that Mosley will be a more refined, secure and relax fighter with brother ****m in his corner. Wether it is going to be enough... will see.
