Thanks BPP for putting this up, was wanting to check out this interview after 24/7. Naazim is definetly stealing the show. Him keeping Mosely focused on the fight may be the difference..

I like the fact that both trainers realize their guy is in for a hard night of work. Media creations and bums don't win 5 or more titles in multiple wieght classes. SSM and PBF are HOF worthy champions and all parties involved respect what they will be facing come May 1.Comment

Understatement. As a black man watching Floyd act ignorant, hearing about Roger beating up in Melissa St Vil, and Sr's corny ass poems, its refreshing to see a black man, and a fellow ****** stealing to show without looking like an ass.Comment

No, probably to illustrate the difference between an intelligent black man/gifted trainer and a toothless rambling crackhead. There is a difference you know?
Furthermore, I am sure people are refreshed by seeing a trainer who isn't nonsensical, speaks with some thought behind his statements, is distinct and intelligible with his statements, and has real credibility behind his sentiments. I am sure Roger appeals to some people but let's face it. He was a subpar champ who got his ass beat by everyone who should have beat him, and it's fairly obvious he lives through Floyd Jr.'s accomplishments that he could never have achieved himself.
Consider the following: Freddie Roach clearly admits he is "the best trainer because he has the best fighter". Who does Roger train that's worth anything besides Floyd?
Sorry to get off track here, but Roger is a tool.Last edited by mrosborne; 04-19-2010, 07:01 PM.Comment
