I think Floyd would beat a prime Cotto in Castillo II fashion. He just doesn't have anything to keep up with Floyd. Mayweather would take advantage of his lack of defense, and there's no way Cotto will be able to steal 7 rounds and then run for 5 like he usually does against elites (unless he sparks them out, but lets face it, he's not KOing Floyd unless he lands a lucky Sanders punch). Against slick boxers, Cotto is forced to box. An example of that is the Judah fight. Mayweather has much better stamina and defense than Judah, and not to mention a better gameplan against a fighter like Cotto.

As for Winky, that would be VERY interesting. It would be a very close fight. I think Floyd would win a close decision in the end. He has the better defense of the two. Winky appears to have the better offense because he mixes it up with his shell, but against a guy like Winky, Floyd would be forced to let his hands go, like how Dirrell was forced to throw punches against Abraham. I wouldn't be surprised if Wright took the close decision though.

And Cotto aint seen nothing like Floyd Mayweather before...no way in hell is Cotto outboxing Floyd(like he did Shane) in the championship rounds...

I agree with the threadstarter. Floyd's resume is not that great. Not hating just saying.

yeah I can agree with that Castillo would have been blown out by Shane, he's the perfect opponent for Shane's style.

mosley could have been the greatest of all time, a billionaire, and p4p number 1 still if he just didn't risk anything and picked easy fights. floyd is right he is a dummie.

What's funny is 38 year old Mosley, beats this 29 year old Cotto imo.
