Why Is Everyone Ripping Valero?

exactly, innocent until proven guilty....this is all speculation at this point he was arrested as a suspect doesn't mean he did it. no one here has any of the facts of the case nor does anyone know what evidence the police have if any. says he was arrested for the "su****ion" of murder.

its really nowhere near the same thing. valero was aware he needed help. he said it himself. but the he scoffs at rehab, he leaves and his wife is dead days later???no excuse

Dude, if he's mentally ill then what do you think he's going to say if he's not in the right frame of mind? You have to force him there. There are some people who talk about demons, devils, and this thing made me want to kill. If you ask them then they arent going to want to go to rehab either but if you know he's at risk then you should try to force it on him and most of all, if a commison say's he's not fit to fight then he shouldnt be alllowed to just easily go somewhere else and get a license.

Either way, lets say you are right. Im not saying that nothing should happened to him. He has to be put away for a long time but I wouldnt send him to Prison. Thats what we always do like idiots. Put him in a mental home for 15-25 years or something. Dont just put him in Prison because he wont get better and will probably kill someone in there which most regular people never care about until it happeneds to there family member. There are consequenses for your actions and he has to face that but that doesnt mean he had it fair himself. Thats my only point. Im just not up to saying a guy is scum when I know he had a mental illness. If he's scum then we have no hope in this world.

Thats the whole point about someone having a brain injury. They may do things the wrong way. I cant believe how people overlook that and want to treat him like he's a regular person. He's not. Your brain is the most important thing and if its off then you will be off, just like football players with alot of concussions commiting suicide or having horrible depression. Then I know you guys have been seeing the story on ESPN about the famed HS football coach were alot of stars went, got killed by a former player. The same player who use to play for him and his parents say loved the coach more than anything. However, the kid became mentally ill and started to have violent stuff with his mother. They tried to get him help and put him in a mental home but those places never helped him right. Then he shoots the coach and kills him. Everyone else in that boys family is fine good people. He was exactly the same until the illness which his mother says from what she understands, it makes you turn on people who you love the most.

Dont keep acting like you are always just scum. The guy may not be right. If ***** gets in a crash, gets brain damage and then starts totally changing then are you guys going to act like he was always like that and should be torchered, given the death penalty, and is the scum of the earth? Remember this girl right here. Some of you probably havent seen. After this everyone killed her and called her the scum of the earth. Until people found out that she is normally a nice girl who use to work 2 jobs to pay her way through College but she has bipolar and doesnt get the right help she needs. Everyone was calling her the worst stuff ever but the people who know her say she is a victim in her own right and doesnt act like this when she is right

cmon man , thats hardly comparable to valero murdering his wife , if anyone didnt get the help they needed in this situation it was valero's wife when she was beaten the first time round

You know, there is a way that you could feel sorry for both sides. I feel terrible for the girl and her family. That doesnt mean that Edwin is not also a victim. I mean this stuff is on TV all the time and you guys act like you never hear about it. I was just watching that one show that I cant think of the name right now. Anyways they had a story about a black guy who had a big lump on his head from an injury he got as a child. He went on to play HS football where he was a star player, I think like a class president, and everyone loved him. All people talk about was how nice he was. Then he gradually got mentally ill. He was in & out of mental homes while still trying to function in life.

Then he started getting crazy and he ended up killing & innocent man & woman so that the police would find him and kill him. They didnt and he got life in Prison. Everyone who knew him even from a far said that he wasnt like that at all but the mentall illness just took a hold. He's a victim also man. That doesnt mean that he shouldnt be punished but he obviously should be in a mental home moreso than a Prison who wont even try to do anything for his illness. in america its all about mens rea, ie. your state of mind. if valero knew what he did was wrong he's amurderer. no matter what his mental defects are, he knew what he was doing is wrong. that's totally what's suggested by him coming downstairs and telling the security that he killed his wife. he knew it was wrong otherwise he wouldnt have told security at the hotel. the point is, based on these facts, he would have a hard time proving he was criminally insane under a us court.
