I'm sorry. but no. If he in fact killed his wife, then there is no excuse for this monster. He's not one of those guys in the looney bin. He was a functioning member of society doing interviews and press conferences and ****. He's a scumbag for what he did and has to pay the price.

Maybe if he had got the right help then he wouldnt be a threat to society. Maybe he doesnt belong in prison but in a mental institution. Im not saying that he should get a pass and nothing but maybe he should just really get the help he needed in the 1st place. If he had gotten that then maybe this wouldnt have happened. Yeah, i sort of do see your point... i can understand maybe why his wife was still around after all the other assault allegations. She knew about his brain injuries and maybe still hoped that he would be cured one day, never would she have thought he would come to the point of killing her though...

i understand all of that, he may have brain damage. but anytime u cant control your actions, anytime u cant keep urself from hurting the person u love the most in the world, u dhould remove yourself from the situation or some one should have removed you from the situation. its a sad day for the boxing world when one of it's stars is once again gonna dissapear, but there is no reason to believe he should be excuse or he shouldnt be judged harshly. he had his chance...it cost his wife he life.

I agree, fair enough he had issues with a brain injury but he should have some indication that it wasnt healthy being a pro boxer as well as abusing alcohol/drugs, he must of had some sort of sanity to be an undefeated boxer...

its really nowhere near the same thing. valero was aware he needed help. he said it himself. but the he scoffs at rehab, he leaves and his wife is dead days later???no excuse

Then I know you guys have been seeing the story on ESPN about the famed HS football coach were alot of stars went, got killed by a former player. The same player who use to play for him and his parents say loved the coach more than anything. However, the kid became mentally ill and started to have violent stuff with his mother. They tried to get him help and put him in a mental home but those places never helped him right. Then he shoots the coach and kills him. Everyone else in that boys family is fine good people. He was exactly the same until the illness which his mother says from what she understands, it makes you turn on people who you love the most.

Dont keep acting like you are always just scum. The guy may not be right. If ***** gets in a crash, gets brain damage and then starts totally changing then are you guys going to act like he was always like that and should be torchered, given the death penalty, and is the scum of the earth? That **** does happened to people
