Do you think Kobe Bryant would say "michael Jordan is better than me"? Do you think Alex Rodriguez would say "joe dimaggio is better than me"?

Floyd is in a combat sport. His ego and warrior spirit and arrogance are a part of his armor. I believe he thinks he is the most highly skilled fighter to ever do it. And, quite frankly, the list of guys who were better is very short. Very short.

I'm not saying who would win in a fight...I'm talking about skills.

Name five guys in the history of the sport with better skills than Floyd.
no matter what floyd says, no matter how ridiculous, his delusional fans will defend it to the death.

I never heard micheal jordan say he is the greatest basketball of all time. NEVER. I never heard him say im better than wilt chamberlain, im better than magic johnson, etc. He might have thought it that way, but he never said it publicly.

And you obviously don't know much. Ali said that Robinson was the best of all time, he idiolized him and Robinson idiolized Armstrong.

It is well documented that Ali idolized Robinson and considered him the best of all time.

You guys don't understand a fighter's mentality because none of you box. You have to tell yourself you are the best and have confidence.

Privately, Floyd probably would acknowledge that those guys had better resumes than him. But head to head (and pound for pound in the case of Ali) he probably does think he can beat them.

My uncle once told me Ray Leonard was getting interviewed around '88 when Tyson was really dominant. The interviewer asked him if he ever thought he could beat a guy like Tyson. Ray said

"If there is even a flyweight out there that doesn't think he can beat Mike, he is in the wrong sport"

No problem with that at all, if he's talking about this era. He says he's better than Ali and Robinson which is insane.

You are missing the point. Regardless of Ali'd reverence for SRR, Ali still said declared himself the greatest of all time. this may have been for marketing purposes. fine.

Just like Mayweather declared himself the greatest of all time on a show intended to market a fight.

                    Get it?

That's why I asked the question at the beginning.
