Hey Lorily hope you had a great weekend. I agree a rematch would produce the same result. I doubt we would see a different Pavlik, because frankly we've never seen one before. He has only a few gears which he can operate under, for better or worse. I think Lowe needs to go and Pav needs a new trainer, although debatable as to whether or not that can extend his career, a guy at Jiffy Lube would have done a better job at stopping the bleeding, that cut man was plain awful and using an end-swell on a cut without any chemical blood clotting agents, is/was Bush League, in the words of Chris Rock...at least rub some tussin on it!I agree. No real interest in seeing a rematch, as it seems boxers with movement create a real problem for Pavlik. He was mentally done by the end of the 3rd, his trainer had to keep telling him "I don't want to hear that [from you]". I would, however, be very interested in a Martinez/Williams rematch now, even more than before. Although, my feeling is that it would be almost a mirror image of the first fight... leaving it in the hands of the judges will always be dangerous for Martinez, and I'm not sure he has the power to KO Williams. It would be an epic fight. These are the type of fights that are so enjoyable, which is why fights like Berto/Quintana are not so fan friendly.Comment
