Stieglitz is bit of a step backwards for Abraham.
Yes, but if Abraham fails at the tournament Stieglitz is an option, especially if he still has that WBO belt.

Stieglitz could regret his words if AA ever gets him in the ring, a pressure fighter with not the best chin = KTFO against AA.

I would have picked Miranda to have stopped Stieglitz before 8 if they had fought.

          Certainly not to Abraham.

Froch also does a good job of firing back whenever his opponent opens up. When AA gets wild and aggressive, I think Froch will land big shots and make AA think twice about that approach.

I don't think AA is as tough as Froch, and that might be the key factor.

People see Froch as a defenseless pressure fighter, but he's not. If AA does nothing, Froch will just stay outside and jab him. Froch is not highly-skilled, but he fights as if he thinks he can outbox world class opposition rather than breaking them down for a late KO. I think that will work in his favour against AA more than against Kessler.

I agree with you. Froch showed he can switch it up. He dominated Jean Pascal with his jab, and it's his toughness. I remember Froch said if Andre Ward headbutted him like he did Kessler he'd have headbutted him back or kicked him in the bollocks. I'm not being funny, boxing is boxing, but they are fighting. And Froch is a natural fighter. Would Froch have succumbed to Ward like Kessler?...........no way.

It's gone too far the other way now with people making Froch out to be awful. I doubt anybody easily defeats Carl Froch in his career in all honesty. Allen Green knows him well and he said that Froch 'will do anything to get the win,' and called him the Evil Sheriff of Nottingham, according to boxing news. You're right, if Abraham complained about low blows Froch would crack him on the jaw when he was complaining, he is that kind of guy...just like Abraham.

I wish it was Froch/Abraham next week.

Stieglitz had a great win over Balszay. Stylewise AA is all wrong for him though.

Should AA leave the supersix after the semis a Stieglitz fight would be big in Germany. Stieglitz is building up to that. He has to beat Gutknecht tonight first though and he is not a push-over.

Wasn't Balzsay up on points when Stieglitz had the fortune of Balzsay gassing out?

I've also heard that Gutknecht looked pretty bad against Balzsay, even though he won.

Yeah he was. As I remember it Balszay got cut and after that he took a severe beating for 2 rounds before collapsing literally. Stieglitz had a great gameplan hitting Balszay with powershots to the body and head. Balszay was the more active fighter and won most of the rounds but Stieglitz heavy artillery took it's toll.

I thought Gutknecht looked pretty good in his upset win TBH. In retrospect Balszay should have taken a couple of easy fights after the Stieglitz defeat.

You have to wonder what these dudes will do when the tournament is over, who they will fight, because they will have fought everybody in the SMW division (minus Bute), so I could definitely see such a match happen if Stieglitz is still champion.

It might be a good idea to actually read what other posters have posted before posting your own stuff.

You basically repeated what I had already said, and I see this happen all the time in the forums. It sucks.
