    He tried. I've sat through that fight about 5 times now and there is a portion of the fight where he is trying to step on the gas.

    He sees JMM is too tough and backs off in the 12th.

    Floyd is not wired to go for the k.o anyway.

      Floyd/Marquez was a farce. It was an exhibition match and Marquez isn't a tenth of the fighter Floyd is up in the 140s. He doesn't belong in that weight class and shouldnt have been fighting up there.
      floyd xylocaine jr said he tried to KO jmm, but he couldnt' do it. logical conclusion is he can't stop at blown up lightweight.
