As for what you said, why Floyd didn't go for the KO is debateable. Only he knows the answer.

I forget where I saw it, but Floyd said he wanted to get the rounds in and not go for the KO. He wanted to shake off the ring rust. The way the fight played out,Im willing to entertain what he was saying.

Marquez can go down in the earlier rounds, but his focus is too great in the later rounds for anything other than a truly titanic punch to put him down.
