I would like to think Pavlik has learned to keep fighters like Martinez at the end of a jab,cut off the ring and assert his superior power...but we have seen no hints or suggestions that he has learned this in previous fights.
The only way I see this is Sergio winning by decision or stoppage (for all of those saying "Pavlik has never been stopped, guess what? There is a 1st time for everything),or Pavlik by stoppage-unless he has a solid gameplan on how to deal with speed and lateral movement.Sergio has the potential to win by more ways than Kelly.
Pavlik really needs to get a new trainer...Jack Leow has not taught Kelly anything beyond a 1,2 and pressure fighting. He needs someone to teach him a bit of footwork or he will always struggle...I don't expect Kelly to transform into a slick fighter, but he can learn a few things involving his limitations...he just needs to identify what he is lacking....
If Pavlik got himself a new trainer who would you like to see him work with? Emmanuel Steward loves working with tall fighters so would Steward be your pick?

Can't wait for this one. I don't think Sergio can stop Pavlik. Bhop hit Pavlik with everything he threw, and he never went down. I don't see how Martinez can KO him.

but if its not 2 crowded u can always move down
the best thing 2 do is try 2 stay in line with the center of the ring
when your in a corner the distance changes dramatically in tht arena

How is Kelly's upper cut? His inside fighting? His short left hook? His hook to the body? Does he jab to the body? Does he fight going backwards? How is his defense?

It's pretty obvious why some support him. But let's be truthful about Kelly's limitations as a fighter.
While I disagree with your assertions that Kelly is a racist (I am waiting for your proof),I believe you are correct about his limitations.
He needs to learn how to punch while moving, and not plant his feet or stand still when doing so.
As well as this,he does not take a step backwards or sideways, let alone know how to fight moving backwards. To further this problem,he needs to learn to give himself more space to get his punches extended, but sometimes gets too damn close to the opponent.
His defense is poor, and when he gets hit,it opens up even more when he should be tightening it up.
He does however have decent body shots, but doesn't use them enough...when he does,it is just to set up for a head-hunt.
His uppercuts are good when he uses them-remember,those were the punches that stopped his last opponent dead in his tracks (I know Espino is a low grade fighter, that is not my point) when the straight right hand wouldn't have been available.
His inside fighting is equally bad-his arms are too damn long and he is ineffective without full extension...(just look at when Mosely would get on the inside of Margarito-he knew Margarito was useless without that arm extension- same concept)...
Is it impossible for Kelly to win-no.Sergio keeps distance and Williams showed that a right hand reaches him (for Williams it was his jabs since he is southpaw),as well as a straight right is a southpaws weakness-Kelly has the strongest straight right in the division atm.
Since Sergio keeps distance,it is important to remember that Kelly needs that space between him and his opponents because he needs full arm extension for his punches and his inside game is poor. This could be bad for Sergio and he may have to fight on the inside a bit more than his fight with Williams.....
Whatever the outcome, this will be a brilliant fight.
As I said earlier-Sergio by decision (or possible stoppage from accurate quick punches) or Pavlik by t/ko...Sergio has more options and ways to win in this fight....

To be honest,I haven't thought about it that much, but we have seen the success that ES brought Wladimir. Him and Pavlik are very upright, tall fighters that work off of jabs,so it could be good for him...it couldn't be worst than Jack Leow.

Steward would be the obvious choice in part because of regional alliances, etc. Although Kelly may lose his ********** fanbase if he got an African American trainer.

I would rather see Kelly work with Joe Goossen. Manny is a spotlight-seeking trainer, and he speaks publicly about his proteges. Also, and most importantly, Manny likes fighters with athletic ability, and Kelly is limited in that arena.
