...Because he thinks it weakens him, that's why he wanted a 30-24 cutoff date. But, to this day, ***** hasn't explained for wanting a 14 day cutoff. FYI - Victor Conte, the master of beating the system has clearly stated that a cheater could flush his system out in a matter of days(inside of a week).

Taking what Conte said into account, I don't see how 14 days would've been any better than the 30-24 day cutoff PAC wanted.

Atleast PAC gave a reason for wanting(as silly as it sounded to alot of us) but, to this day, ***** never explained why it had to be 14 days.

I think pac will take 14 days when it comes down to it in my opinion. the reason they didnt take it is for two reasons

both may and pac have HUGE egos and neither wanted to back down

arum and mayweather have a deal to arrange the fight later with proper promoting

my guess would be that Floyd's team thinks Manny would only benefit from using PED's for 14 days instead of 24 to 30 days

your point is absolutely ****** and scarcely worth addressing. you are implying that floyd is actually on PEDs... wow...

He has never explained it because he never WANTED 14-day cutoff. The 14-day cutoff was offered by the Mayweather team as a compromise to try to get the fight made after Pacquaio refused to budge from the 30-day cutoff and then offered only a 24-day cutoff after it was revealed that he had blood drawn for the Hatton fight 24 days before the fight. Floyd wanted testing done up until a few days before the fight.

Floyd wanted unlimited testing until 24 hours before the fight. Pac's team countered with a 30 day cut off. Floyd then decided to meet them right in the middle at two weeks or 14 days. That still wasn't enough for Pac. He wanted 24 days. Floyd wasn't going to pushed around on this issue so the fight fell apart.

pushed around? pac agreeing to a 30 day was huge because pac budged from the original boxing rules.

floyd went one step 24 hours to 14 days

pac went two steps, normal boxing rules to 30 day cut off

then a 24 day cut off

pac wasnt going to be pushed around after floyd refused the 2nd step
