No is not likely at all. Pac is #1 by the Ring so the winner of this fight will not be RIng champ. However, Shane is the lineal champ so that title will be on the line for Shane-Floyd.

pac never beat the #1 so your premise is very flawed. i think if floyd beats mosely and beats him convincingly, he will be #1 at ww. theres no doubt about that.

How is my premise flawed when is the Ring who ranks Pac #1?

The guy said that since The Ring is owned by Golden boy the winner will become the Ring champ. The Ring states that the only way you win a ring title is by beating the ring champ or having a box off between the #1 guys vs the #2 guy or in certain situations the #1 guys vs the #3 guy. Pac right now by The Ring is ranked #1, Shane #2, and Floyd #3. The #2 and #3 can not fight for a vacant Ring title. So the winner will not be Ring champ no matter who owns it cuz Pac is #1. So how is my premise flawed going by what The Ring goes by?

However, the winner will be the lineal champ since Shane is the lineal champ.

And, you're also confusing rankings with championships. In rankings you do not have to beat the #1 to get the #1 spot.

my point is pac never beat the #1 guy to become #1. so therefore, the premise that u have to beat the #1 guy is flawed. unless ur sayin they make exceptions for pac.

EDIT: my fault ur totally right, i was definitely misreading. but yea, the winner of the next fight will not be ring champ.

What premise do I have? I don't have any premise. I am going by what The Ring states and by The Ring ratings...
