Before Pac started fightig in the US, i read about him in Fil-Am newspapers and Pinoy sports magazines that my cousins sent to me. First time i saw him fight was against Barrera. When dominated him, i became a fan.

i didn't become a fan until the hatton win. i thought he was a sloppy one handed fighter. the de la hoya win didn't impress me since oscar obviously wasn't all there that night.

Seriously i love how he KO Hatton who i dont really like because some of his dumb fans turn me off him but the way he walked through cotto and make cotto run backward would forever live in my memory..

I love watching live fights and i could remember all the live fights that i saw that sticked in my memory till today, I remember watching Tyson-spinks with my dad live and i was shocked (Well everyone at the party was shocked), And i remember watching Mayweather-Gatti ( wasnt too shocked), But the Pacquiao-Cotto fight took me to a different level, Before the fight i predict Pacquiao stopping Cotto in the 11th round but i thought it was be soo much harder than the way the fight actually played out.

been a pacquiao fan even prior to his loss to torrecampo. i used to watch him in his early fights and telling myself hell go far but i have not expected this far. hes got the strength, the courage. he used to fight like ali. he doesnt cover up yet seldom clinch. but at that time at his weight he towers over the other fighters. he moves around, shuffling (like ali). he was the destroyer, the "no-fear" fighter(he was always wearing "no-fear" apparels. in was so angry at him when he lost to singsurat because he was overweight i told myself then "there goes one good filipino fighter, as usual when they already got the fame and a little money, discipline is out of the window. i thought back then its the end for pacman, hes doomed like what happened to those before him. but then again pacman is different, he rise up to the challenge and like the proverbial phoenix he rose from the ashes. it seems that episode is only to teach him a lesson and he passed it with flying colors by recovering and getting back on the winning streak again after that. pacman have already learned the bitter lessons of the past and that explains how he works so hard prior to a fight.

i am still a bit new to boxing, i watch as much as i can as often as i can, have been watching for about 2-3 years now with passion. (before that only the super known likes of Mike Tyson etc) and seeing as i live in Norway, they dont cover boxing much here, so i have to download or watch every fight on a stream or youtube.

and now my point, i had heard about Pacquiao before the ODLH fight. but i hadnt seen him fight. so, i was impressed with him. (yes oscar was a corpse, but still alot bigger) so i started researching, and realised that if i had started to watch his career he would make me a fan at about the MAB fight. very entertaining fighter.

been a fan since watching him destroy ledwaba, and definitely when he merked barrera...i use to watch him on undercards on huge ppv fights before he was big time as well...

i remember some friends saying that i should leave boxing and start training mma cuz boxing is boring this and that...

they talked **** about how boring the mayweather vs de la hoya fight was and i said how that was a great technical fight on boxing 101, so.....

i told them to just watch a dude by the name of pacquiao lol...and they talked **** about how funny that name sounds and all that...

but now...EVERY ***ing mma fan is riding pacs ****, even mma fighter talking about how he's an inspiration...

its just ashame that most people never watched this man in those lower weight classes, where he was truly at his prime weight, where HE was the brawler, always coming forward...those were my fav pac days

****, i remember when boxing analysts and experts were saying "pac is a force at 122 or 126, but was too small for 130" lol...and to where he is now is truly a remarkable career and legacy...

i no doubt know that years after he retires, people will rank him high ATG and appreciate what the man did for the sport of boxing

being stuck here in the middle of the sahara, I heard about his legend way back late 90s, lot of stories how strong he was, but really not seen him fight then...

I became an avid fan after the PAC-MAB 1, when we had more tools to see his fights...
