I discovered him around the Morales-Barrera fights era. Long ago, so memories are a little foggy . Became a big time fan since i first saw him fight. His sheer love for action enthralled me! The more intense the fight gets, the better he likes it. Never have i seem a boxer just love to fight like Manny. 'Cept maybe Ali.

That intense love coupled with a killer instinct=p4p best.

When he beat one of my favorite fighters, Barrera. I thought at the moment that he was going to beat the big three in a row at the time.

it's like they had their doubts after the 2nd JMM fight and were ready to hop on the Donaire bandwagon..then they raised a little hope in the Diaz fight but were still hesitant cuz they knew he was only a bum..then the Corpse of DLH came along to stand as a punching bag for Pacquiao..and they ERUPTED like white girls at ALL-STAR Weekend!!..

Firstly if you're from the UK iike i am then you wouldnt have been getting to watch Pacquiao until recently on SKYSPORTS LIVE, Like the TS i first saw Pacquiao after he beat Barrera, I saw the fight and was impress and i remember correctly the hype surrounding him and how exciting he was.

Then the next fight i saw of him was the first JMM fight, I seem to remember either foreman or lampley saying do not blink here and blam JMM was down 3 times. I was hooked from then on.. I have to say out of all those fight that have seen of Pac the Barrera fight was his best performance till date with the cotto fight a close second.

The first time i've heard of PAC and watched him was in the late 90's. Honestly, I wasnt' really all that impressed with what I saw.

The next time I heard of him again was when he defeated Ledwaba, i didn't see the fight, because i didn't even know he was in the undercard. I just heard my uncle telling everybody how impressive the "Filipino fighter" looked. And I myself wasn't really familiar with Ledwaba, so in my mind, I just thought it was just two journeymen going at it.

And fast - forward to 2003, I was walking around the downtown in my area after telling my GF that I was gonna go solo while she goes shopping with her friend. I stumbled onto Hooters, went straight to the bar, had no idea boxing was even on t.v. when I walked in, it was already the 6th round and I could not f**kin' believe wtf I was witnessing. PAC was just raping MAB with no vaseline. This dude next to me, couldn't believe it as well, he was like "who is this guy" 'cause he knew who MAB was.

In my mind, I thought, hmm, maybe MAB just had an off-night. Because what I saw in PAC's performance against MAB was more or less the same before he hit the stage in America. You know, a one-dimensional, wild brawler, with an insane stamina. I didn't think someone like that could ever bother MAB.

After that I started watching his fights. What made me fan was not what I saw on t.v. but when I dropped by the WCG, it was the time he was preparing for his 3rd bout with Erika. The fight was only 2 weeks away, so he was already in peak condition and I was just blown away with his speed. After watching his fights on t.v prior to my visit, I didn't realize just how fast he was.

The funny thing is, I wasn't sold when he beat MAB, but, I became a fan after watching him at WCG workout. His speed is incredible in person, no wonder he has some of his opponents fooled, they simply don't realize just how fast he is, until they step into that ring.

Well, You have to understand that there is a war brewing on here especially with your Mayweather avatar, People would assume you just want to critise them but until recently we dont get the big names over here unless one of our fighter was fighting them.
