Pure boxer my ass! Only *****idiots keeps coining that term just to justify their manlove on floyd...

Majority of the people who WATCH BOXING WANTS TO GET ENTERTAINED AND NOT TO LEARN HOW TO BOX!

Throw that pureboxing nonsense out as it's been played out so thin already!

Only one of those fights listed that I actually paid for was the Oscar fight. I was slightly underwhelmed by that one.

I watched those other fights but didn't pay for them, so no complaint. I was definitely pissed the fuck off that he even fought Marquez at all though.

Um thats what he is a PURE BOXER. Hes not coming to pretend to be Edwin Valero. Thats not his style. I dont watch boxing just to see knock outs. One of my favorite fighters of all time couldnt knock anyone out: Winky Wright.

Its Floyd. You already know how he is. He selling a fight. You arent a casual fan you should know better. Hes promising beat downs for the casual fans not guys like us. Shane just promised to knock Floyd out. Do you think its going to happen? Hell no. Its Shane hyping up the fight.

Floyd isnt the only fighter in history to say stuff then do otherwise. Ali is great example he was wrong in a lot of his poems..lol.

He dominates people with his boxing skill. Baldi and JMM combined won ZERO rounds. Thats skill. He doesnt have to fight like a wild man to dominate people. Thats what I appreciate about Floyd. I dont want every boxer to fight the same. I want to see knock outs Ill watch Valero. When I want a pure, perfect display of the sweet science you watch Floyd. If you are watching him to jump out your seat you got the wrong guy.
This is a good post Burner.

              I voted Oscar and Baldomir.

Baldomir because it was just plain boring. I agree that in this fight, as a big Floyd fan, I would have liked to see him open up a bit.

The Oscar fight I was disappointed with but not really due to any fault of Floyd. I thought Oscar would ask more questions than he did, rather than just let Floyd totally control the fight and canter to an easy win.

Looking back, Hatton-Mayweather was one bad ass fight. The excitement was amazing and the fight was really close & good until Hatton got figured out.

As the poll shows it was probably the best Mayweather fight of his PPV career.

Sure it wasn't incredible but I enjoyed it.

Taking away the obvious size differential it was amazing to see someone outskill JMM so significantly.

Mayweather is a great, great fighter. His skills are immense and I can enjoy watching that, even if the fight is a little too one-sided or boring.

I'm not going to lie though, when it comes to who I would rather pay to watch out of Floyd and Manny, its Pacman all day. Still, I enjoy and appreciate both for what they are.
