It could well end up Fight of the Year. I really like both guys and there's no doubt in my mind the fight will be spectacular one way or the other.

Interesting to see that most people favor Hasegawa.
I am really undecided, he's been very impressive against decent opposition, but noone after Sahaprom was anywhere near Montiel's level, in my opinion.

this is a fight of the year candidate for sure, there is not one aspect of this fight that isnt going to be a war................

im hyped for this one............... i'm a fan of both, been more of a fan of montiels than hasegawa since i've followed montiel longer, so i guess i have a little biased towards montiel, but may the best man win because both a great in my eyes......

Don't get me wrong, the other one is the biggest fight in a long time and it will be interesting to see how Mayweather will deal with probably his biggest in-ring adversity yet (I think he will prevail. too fast, too clever) and I'm so looking forward to it, especially with a great first 24/7 episode. But Hasegawa-Montiel is something else and has a lot of possible outcomes, very very excited about that, in case you haven't noticed by now.

Both on the top of their game, both with two losses (Hasegawa very early in his career, Montiel against top opposition also from years ago), for both probably the biggest fight so far and most importantly: both did their best to advertise this fight by getting flashier recently. Hasegawa's improved ko ratio against very decent opponents lately is quite a beauty and Montiel's bodyshot against Ciso Morales earlier this year wasn't any less impressive. I think at this point, they deserve all the spotlight they can get.

Here's a cool video to get you pumped up (not mine, so all credit to the owner):

                P.S: War Hozumi!
i agree. i am a big fan of both guys.

Yeah what a shame, but pretty much expected.
Well, I'm sure there will be a stream available, that's one of the big advantages for fight cards in Japan.
