REAL boxing fans wont discredit floyd if he beats shane IMPRESSIVELY. if floyd gets a KO, i think that majority of boxing fans would be pleasantly surprised. ALL of his critics will be silenced. so YOU should pray for that...
but youre telling me that shane handling a roided up vargas, oscar's golden left hook, & margaritos pressure is not enough for us to think that floyd stands no chance at flattening shane???? floyd better NUMB the F**K out of his hands if he plans to KO shane.

yes, floyd fought champions & contenders... but youre telling me there wasnt any ELITE fighters for him to fight??? didnt he retire when the WW division was stacked?

So now oscar was out of shape and hadnt fought in two years (it was actually one) and somehow he was not fat and out of shape.

this is what im talking about. floyd fought 5 full divisions above his best weight, no catchweight, no stipulations, and fought for a legit title in the division and its as if the fight never happened.

dlh outweighed floyd by at least ten pounds. put it like this, dlh had the same weight advantage that floyd had over jmm. difference is, floyd still found a way to win.

dlh also made sure to select the smallest ring possible, selected the gloves and weight class.

if floyd gets a KO, it will have to be something BIG (which i doubt).
it all depends on who the assigned referee is...
most officials should respect shane enough to not call a premature stoppage.
shane deserves the right to fight till he quits (which i also doubt).

as for throwing in the towel, i think brother ****m has faith & confidence in shane. i think he will respect shane as well... shane is a big boy, i would think he would let him last till the decision is made. IMO

again, this is all speculation that somehow floyd becomes some heavy-handed puncher all of a sudden... lol. or some super aggressive pressure fighter that outhustles shane.... floyds stoppages came from fighting slower fighters that couldnt time him and had no answers for his pot shotting...
floyds style caters to decisive victories... lets not act like it doesnt. its not like floyd is boasting an amazing KO average.

I read a very good article of a Ellerbe interview where he promised Floyd will fight ALL the people the public demands before he retires and Williams and Pacquiao were mentioned but he said all focus is on Shane right now. I believe him but it takes 2 to make fights happen. Floyd shouldn't be held accountable for other fighters that refuse to cooperate with making fights happen and should have to bend over backwards either.
