Corley was knocked down 4 times in the fight, and his negative body language showed that he wanted to quit. Hanging on to Corley's loss and acting like it was a robbery is ridiculous, considering he was going to get knocked out right when he got back up.

Sosa was a legitimate threat in the lightweight division, Floyd Mayweather even said so because he went the distance with him. Floyds words were: Sosa is going to take over. He moves up in weight, and challenges the champion.

If you think the 5 lbs weight makes much of a difference: I beg to differ. JLC is a great fighter at 140, and people were skeptical of Corrales making weight in their fight. Look what happened there.

No I dont think the jump from 135 to 140 is that big but it can be damaging to a small fighter such as Sosa. Hell Corrales would get killed in there with the top guys at 140. To top it off while Cotto makes the 140 limit at weigh in time he balloons up a good bit and was visible in that fight.

Corley had taken a knee and showed no signs of being hurt, I am not hanging onto nothing but whatever diluted opinion you have of what was going to happen we will never know because nothing did. Cotto was the only fighter who looked hurt and Corley wasnt hurt and if he was he would have had enough to get up.

EVERYBODY knows that Corley fight was a fraud, hell even Cotto believes so.

So you are discrediting the 3 other legitimate knockdowns? He took a knee on the 4th. I think its Diluted to think that he could have survived the onslaught, when he was outgunned and thorougly outmatched. Like I said, thats hanging on to a strange moral victory for Corley.

Cotto is definitely a good power puncher, anybody trying to deny this is just being silly. Having said that, I have still chosen Abdulaev to defeat him.

Cotto wears the garbage bag I see. Draining himself to make weight. That will take its toll one day. Moving up in weight is inevitable for him, I don't know why he doesn't go ahead and make the move. Oh yeah, because Zab Judah would surely eat him for breakfast. But then again, so would Mayweather.

Cotto has good power and speed, but still lacks the skill needed to beat someone like Mayweather. I do not think he will even beat Abdulaev, though this would be no shame in a loss to this opponent.

At first i picked Cotto to win by decision but i just watched their olympic fight again and i saw that Aby is easy to hit and is vulnerable to body shots. So now my new prediction is Cotto ko4.Cotto will will end it with a shot to the body than he goes back upstairs and puts Aby down.
